Shannon “the Cannon” Hudson, Founder and CEO of 9Round Fitness Franchises, is pleased to announce that 9Round Franchising has awarded franchise rights to a joint venture composed of Tom Sagehorn Troy Wiseman & Chandler Wiseman to open 9Round Fitness Centers in Chicagoland.

Sagehorn is the president of 9Round Franchising, LLC and he will continue in this role. Troy was  co-founder of an international clothing company best known for it’s B.U.M. brand of sportswear & athletic apparel & currently co-founder & CEO of EcoPlanet Bamboo. The operating manager will be Chandler Wiseman, a former NCAA Division 1 wrestler and son of Troy. Chandler will be moving back to Chicago to run the first Chicagoland 9Round Fitness Center in June.

Said Chandler, “I was drawn to 9Round because it is a full body 30 min workout. Few places offer that and with a combat sports background it sounded perfect for me. Going through the 9Round circuit workout really showed me that anybody can walk trough the doors of that gym and achieve any goals they have set for themselves physically. Being a former division one wrestler, I have done every workout you can think of and this one appeals to the largest group of people. After the 9Round Discovery Day was over I realized I needed to be more than just a member of this gym, I needed my own. I’m looking forward to getting Chicago fit 9 rounds at a time!”

Said Shannon Hudson, the composition of this venture is awesome. Troy brings his vision and entrepreneurial experience with Tom’s experience in franchise development and management. Troy founded B.U.M. athletic clothing when he was 20. He grew this into one of the world’s leading brands in athletic wear. Now he is one of the worlds biggest bamboo plantation owners using the business to employ people in underdeveloped countries and at the same time making for a ‘greener” world.

It’s triplets for 9Round 9Round Franchising, LLC with the announcement of awarding franchises to 3 new owners.

The locations and owners are Seneca-Clemson, S.C. (Andrea Burdette), Greenwood, S.C. (Trey and Regina Snipes), Michael and Shay Brown (north Greenville/Travelers Rest, S.C.). All of the owners have been successful business owners who have a keen interest in fitness.

Shannon Hudson is pleased to announce the award of 9Round franchise rights to The C.I.N.O Group, owned by Quinton Teal, a former member of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers, and currently a free agent, and James Brochu, a football team-mate of his at Coastal Carolina University. James will handle day to day operations and training as Quinton continues his career in the NFL. They joined the 9Round Nation with a near term goal to open 3 gyms in the north Charlotte, NC market.

February 29th has been set as a Discovery Day for 9Round Franchise candidates. Said Tom Sagehorn, president of 9Round Franchising, LLC, “The February 7th Discovery Day was such a success and the number of franchise candidates is growing at such a pace we decided to hold one in advance of our Spring Discovery Day”.

Discovery Day at 9Round is always an informative and fun day. We overview the concept, we have our candidates go through the 9Round Circuit and we visit various franchisees throughout the area. It’s a day not to miss if you are genuinely interested in becoming a 9Round franchise owner.

The February 7th Discovery Day for franchise candidates was a huge success. We had candidates from Las Vegas, Chicago, Atlanta and Charlotte to name a few.

The day was spent going over the concept and showing why it is a success. 11 candidate groups attended, the largest group ever to attend a 9Round Discovery Day.

Candidates also visited 3 franchisee-owned gyms and wrapped the day up with a 9Round Circuit Workout on the system — a required part of the 9Round Discovery Day.

Within 24 hours after the event, 8 candidates accepted their invitations to join the 9Round Nation and more are expected.

Tom Sagehorn, president of 9Round Franchising, has announced that a Discovery Day has been set for Tuesday February 7th, 2012, starting at 9:00 AM (eastern) at 9Round headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina.

Says Tom, “Discovery Day is the most important step in the process of becoming a franchise owner of 9Round Fitness Centers. This is a day when everyone gets to know each other. We visit franchise owned gyms in the Greenville-Spartanburg area and let franchise candidates talk to our franchisees. We also educate the candidates about our business model as well as put all candidates through the 9Round Circuit Workout (c).”

Discovery Day will be held at the corporate offices and gym at 1099 Butler Road, Greenville, South Carolina. Candidates from around the country are planning to attend from Las Vegas to Chicago to Delaware and in between. “This is an outstanding group of individuals coming into Greenville. We make this a fun and exciting day as well as an up close and personal day with the top management team of 9Round” said Tom.

9Round Franchising has started 2012 with a bang! In the first two weeks of 2012 we awarded two franchises – one for Rock Hill, SC and the other, this time for our 8^th state of expansion, in Bloomington, Indiana, the Hoosier State. The franchise owner for Rock Hill is Jim Goodwin and the owner for the Bloomington 9Round is Guy “Nick” Cragen. Both are fitness enthusiasts and they have already attended 9Round Training Camp to fast track the opening of their 9Round Fitness Centers.

As well we are expecting a big crowd for the upcoming Discovery Day on February 7, 2012. We have guests expected from Chicago, Las Vegas, Fort Worth and New Jersey. It’s going to be an exciting and educational day.
