Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats

It’s common to struggle with eating breakfast every morning, especially when you’re short on time—however, we’ve got you covered with this recipe for Overnight Oats! These delicious, ooey-gooey oats are almost like bread pudding in texture, and the longer you let them sit, the thicker and more flavorful they get! They’re also packed with healthy whole grains, fruit, fiber, and protein.

Even though they’re called “overnight” oats, you don’t technically have to let them sit fully overnight. Depending on the texture you want to achieve, you can mix them up in the morning and take on the go for a quick snack, or you can prepare them the night before and grab them out of the fridge to eat before work.

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop 9Round Protein Powder
  • ¾ cup almond or oat milk
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ medium apple, chopped (Kickin’ Kenz uses Gala apples)
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:

Step 1: In a jar or another air-tight container, add your rolled oats, almond or oat milk, protein powder, ground cinnamon, and the majority of your chopped apple.

Step 2: Add the lid and shake to combine.

Step 3: Top the mixture with the remainder of your chopped apple, seal the lid back on, and put your oats into the fridge to allow the flavors to mesh.

Step 4: Allow your jar to sit in the fridge for 8-12 hours or overnight.
