Darius Rucker Is a 9Round Fan

It can be difficult being a busy celebrity and having to find the time to fit in a successful fitness routine. This is a  problem that Darius Rucker, who was the lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish and is now a solo country artist, has come to know. According to Catching Up With Darius Rucker, an article in Men's Health, Darius Rucker likes to go workout at his local 9Round when he is home, but on the road staying fit can be a harder problem to solve. In the article he discusses how important it is for him to stay in shape and how upset he gets when he can not fit his workout into his busy schedule, while he is away from home. He also discusses the necessity of being in shape during a high-energy show. On performing he states, “On a summer night, I lose probably 5 to 8 pounds of water weight and sweat. It’s so hot! You’ve got to be in good shape, especially with a high-energy show. I don’t love lifting weights. I don’t love being on the elliptical. But I love everything that comes with it. When I'm home, there’s this gym called 9Round Boxing that I go to. It’s all boxing stuff.” At 9Round we are proud to be able to help Darius Rucker and many others find a fun and exciting workout that fits their needs and schedules.
