9Round Finalizes Expansion Deals for Indonesia and Vietnam
Apr 7, 2020
Our goal is to bring 9Round to as many countries as possible, so people can enjoy our fitness program all over the world. With this goal in mind, we are excited to confirm two new master franchise agreements, with one being in Indonesia and the other in Vietnam. Our brand is happy to confirm these plans for continued growth across Asia, and we look forward to beginning development as soon as possible.
Our Founder and CEO, Shannon “The Cannon” Hudson, speaks of his excitement about the new expansions in both of these countries below.
"We are thrilled to welcome Indonesia and Vietnam to our roster as we continue to expand our presence across Asia. Based on what we’ve already seen across this continent, we expect 9Round will be the perfect fit for both countries due to its appeal to customers, small real estate footprint, efficient business model, and proven international scalability.”
With our new master franchise agreement in Indonesia, we plan to open 25 locations across the country over the next seven years, with the inaugural location set to open in the city of Jakarta. Vietnam’s master license outlines our plan to open 24 locations in 10 years, with Ho Chi Minh City set to be the location of the country’s first 9Round studio.
As you may know, our brand is now currently open and operating in 20 countries around the world. In addition to Indonesia and Vietnam’s new agreements, we have also finalized deals for future development in three more countries, which are Colombia, Panama, and Qatar. Currently, we are working to confirm new deals for our global expansion into Brazil and South India as well.
“We kicked off 2020 with locations open and operating across a record-setting 20 countries, but even still, we are far from done when it comes to international expansion,” says our CEO, Shannon Hudson. “At the rate at which we’re currently closing international deals, it’s only a matter of time before people in all corners of the world can access 9Round to become stronger in 30 minutes!”
