What makes a Fantastic Fitness Franchise?  Or what makes any franchise great? Is it the concept, support from the corporate office, a fantastic IT department, or how bout marketing material?  Well, all of those things are very important pieces to the business equation, no doubt.  As a brand grows, these departments must continue to evolve and adapt, or they will get left behind by a similar competitor.  So YES, these make the Franchise Fantastic!!

So how come some operators do better than others?  If they all are equipped with the same tools, how come some rock it out and others struggle?  We see it all the time here at the corporate office.  Franchise candidates visit and assume that because we have all these nice departments of information for them at their fingertips, they will be a massive success.

Then reality hits hard a few months in.  They realize that running a business, even though it's a franchise, is hard work.  Yes, even though a corporate office may provide you a nice website, you still have to use it.  Meaning keep the news updated, keep the photo's fresh, keep an offer on your site, and keep you social media hopping.  Yes, even though a corporate office might provide a monthly newsletter slam full of exiting developments and business building info, you still have to open it and read it.  It's a fine line to walk, because a good franchise company will provide an owner with all the right tools to be a success but they are not going to babysit them.  An operator has to be ready to roll up their sleeves and get in the trenches and go to work. As the old saying goes, "You can take a horse to the water, but you can't force them to drink."  The same thing applies to operating any business, whether it's a mom and pop shop, a franchise business, or a Fortune 500 company.

So what make a Fantastic Franchise?   H U S T L E      Operators have to take those valuable tools provided by a franchisor and put em to use.  Hustle levels the playing field.  The operators that have HUSTLE, make it happen and make the most money.  It's that simple.  So if your looking to buy a franchise, be prepared to implement the most powerful business technique in the world.  HUSTLE.  If you think, "If I build it, they will come." you are in for a rude and expensive awakening.
