About the team
Cali boy, though have been in Colorado since 1979. Owner of the Aurora Southlands gym and Parker gym (Keystone Blvd, near Lincoln and Jordan). A Rea...l Estate veteran that decided to change my life by becoming a member of 9Round in 2017, and become an Owner shortly after...the workout was that incredible. Nick name? Someone gave it to me after seeing me climb over obstacles at the Spartan Race. More
Christie "The Crusher" is originally from Lincoln, NE and is a huge Husker football fan (Go Big Red!). She moved to Colorado in 2002 and fell in love ...with the active lifestyle that the state offers. She is the manager at 9Round Parker Keystone and kickboxing is her all time favorite workout! She is ACE Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Certified and teaches a variety of formats, such as Insanity, P90X, Tabata, TRX, and HIIT, so loves bringing her exercise knowledge to the members of the gym! She takes pleasure in pushing members to their greatest fitness potential while also building a strong connection with each and every one of them. When she is not in the gym, she enjoys hiking and biking the mountains with her husband, two children, and pit bull. More
"Nightshade" Shawnee grew up in Ogden, Utah. She was active in a number of sports growing up and became a world championship competitive athlete. She ...later moved to Colorado to attend CSU (Go Rams!). She is a beast in the great outdoors and thrives on living a healthy, active lifestyle. If not in the gym, you will likely find her hiking a mountain or exploring a lake in our beautiful state. She is a NASM certified personal trainer and also holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Education. Words to Live By: Don’t Wish for It… Work for It! Fitness philosophy: Fitness is the sum of several factors and should be enjoyed. She’ll take pride in incorporating a high level of energy, intensity and creativity into every workout, so that members have fun and stay motivated while exceeding their personal fitness goals. More
“Dirty Thirty” Mel is a Colorado Native. She lives in Elizabeth Colorado with her husband (also a Colorado Native) and two boys. She loves being ph...ysically active and is always looking for ‘next level’ workouts. Her philosophy when working out is BRING IT! When not working out, she loves to cook Paleo friendly meals, hike fourteeners, camp, and find new adventures. She enjoys pushing people to explore their limits and challenge themselves to be the best they can be and not give up on themselves at 9Round. More

It’s a great work out that I can fit into my day whenever I want. And it’s quick- about 30 minutes. Plus I like knowing how long I’ll be doing each exercise. No surprises, no guessing, no subconscio... us energy conservation or burn-out that happens like when I’m in other workout situations and I don’t know how long a particular drill or exercise will last.
