Sandy "Warrior Sistah" Lyon - After struggling with my weight over the last 10 years, I finally hit "Rock Bottom" one day in a department store dressing room. The next day I drove to the gym and hired a personal trainer and began learning about nutrition but most importantly to lose body fat. After I reached my first goal of 15 lbs, I was a new woman. It was at this time that I decided to change my career so I could help others achieve their goals and ultimately change their life. I believe being "In Shape" is more than just going to the gym 3 days per week. It is a lifestyle of good nutrition, strength training and cardiovascular. As a 9Round owner, I want to help people make the transition to a healthier and longer life. Patrick "The Punisher" Lyon - My mid-life career change happened when my wife became a personal trainer. I always had an interest in fitness and hit the gym pretty hard. I became a personal trainer myself and found a passion to help others achieve their goals. We had a personal training company but wanted to go in a differnet direction that was ours. We found 9Round and never looked back. Fun, fitness and energy is what 9Round is all about and what fits our personality.

- You wear your 9ROUND PULSE™ belt during your workout.
- As you work out, the device tracks how hard you’re working and displays your effort rating, your heart rate and calories burned on a monitor inside the 9Round club.

I joined 9Round in September, I had been struggling with environmental depression being a recent college graduate living at home with my parents, unsure about where life was going to take me next. I joined as a suggestion of a family friend, I had taken kickboxing fitness classes before while in college and I did martial arts as a kid. This has been amazing for my mental and my physical health. I come every day after work and I feel amazing afterwards. Thanks to all the trainers and the other long time members that have welcomed me into the 9Round Family!
I joined 9Round in January after seeing an advertisement on Facebook. I was immediately interested as I’ve always wanted to try the sport, but the offerings in my area are limited and expensive. After the first introductory class, which is free, I was instantly hooked on the philosophy of the 3 minute stations and no scheduled class times that 9Round offers. They make it so simple for me to attain a quick and rewarding workout around MY schedule. The staff is warm, friendly, and is always there to help encourage an exhilarating workout. They not only have expertise in the sport, but incorporate their knowledge with us members in order to achieve the most effective workouts. I would encourage anyone to sign up at 9Round. I'd rate it 12 stars if I were able to!
I joined 9Round in September. The workouts challenge me everyday. I actually look forward to going to the gym. Sandy, Addison, Laura and Patrick motivate me to do my best. They have created a friendly, welcoming, supportive atmosphere for all ability levels.
9round Bedford has been such a great inspirational way to start the day strong, or let out all the stress of the day! The owners and trainers are all super supportive and always have the right words to motivate you to do your best through each and every workout. They also truly care when you miss a few days of kicking butt. Working out amongst such wonderful people has made my workout journey both enjoyable as well as makes me serious about what I'm doing for my health. The accountability and support are perfectly balanced. You don't have to be super in shape or advanced to start off. I was actually coming off an injury when I started and I personally feel I've come a long way from what I "thought I couldn't do"... Now I can do more than I imagined! If you haven't tried out 9round Bedford, for whatever reason, do yourself a favor and give it a try! You've got nothing to lose except your "I can't" attitude, because trust me, YOU CAN!
BEST PLACE EVER! I will admit it, when I join a gym I always start out with great intentions, but always end up quitting a few months later. 9 Round is the first workout that have I stuck with. I actually find myself excited to go!!! Sandy, Patrick, Addison, Laura and the rest of the 9 Round family are so encouraging and supportive! I am so proud of all that I have accomplished and I couldn't have done it without their support!
I love this place! In 2014 I started doing triathlons, prior to that I had been doing my own circuit workouts for Tough Mudder events. Once I started doing triathlons, I stopped cross-training. Not a good idea. This year I am training for my first full Ironman race, and thought that I should start incorporating some strength/endurance training into my weekly routine. My wife started at 9Round and suggested I come with her for the free first workout. I was immediately hooked! The owners (and rest of the trainers) were very welcoming, and the workout was TOUGH! The trainers learn how far they can push you, so you get customized treatment, and the workouts change every day. The kick boxing aspect of the routine adds a very unique dynamic compared to your regular gym workouts. You gain practical strength, endurance, and stability that will help you in life, or in whatever muscular endurance sports you may be interested in. I love just showing up ready to work, and not having to devise my own routines. The trainers keep you honest, making sure you do the work with the right form, and to completion. Even with my swim/bike/run training being consistent over the past couple years, the 9Round workouts have started building deeper muscle strength, as well as really hitting the stabilizer muscles that are neglected with the triathlon sports. I know it is working because I am noticing fatigue/good soreness in all those forgotten areas from my weight lifting/HIIT days. I cannot endorse this type of strength/endurance training enough, and the convenience and great staff at the Bedford 9Round club makes this an even better experience.
