  • The trainers/coaches...Eric, Amber, Antoine, and Jimmie. You guys write some awesome/challenging routines, but the best part is they are effective. Since I started in March (i think it was March)...anyway since March I've lost 28 lbs., and EVERYONE notices. I've been fighting the battle of the bulge for YEARS. I run, cycle, spend hours in the gym nothing has given me the results I've seen in just a few months working with you guys at 9 round. It's imperative that I keep my weight in check, now more than ever (I'm 9 months post-op...Stage 1 Breast Cancer), I fully intend to keep 9round as my priority workout, then cycling (as soon as I get my breaks fixed

  • I actually like everything that is done. One thing would be just to have 2 different exercises per round instead of 3. That way, I can concentrate more on getting those 2 done the right way and not having to worry about a 3rd exercise. I also like the hands on exercises with the trainers, maybe more of that during the rounds.

    Hello to all my future 9 Round members!! I'm "J BOOM " Owner & Trainer of the Steele Creek/ Shopton Rd. location. As a certified personal trainer I believe our health is vital to everyday living. Our health empowers us to feel good about ourselves, clears our minds and enables us to deal with this challenging world in which we live. At 9 Round my goal is to challenge each member to have fun while getting fit and enjoy healthy living.

    9Round is hands down the best gym I have ever had the pleasure of working out in. In fact, I loved it so much, I ended up graduating from member to trainer. Starting at the age of six, I have been fascinated with martial arts and fitness. After achieving a black belt in tae kwon do, I picked up another sport- wrestling. Thanks to these two sports, I have earned quite the endurance. With this endurance, conditioning (running, jump rope, etc.) is a breeze for me. With my athetic background, knowledge of conditioning, and drive to make every new day better than the last, my new passion has become helping others achieve a physicality that they are proud of. In 30 minutes, just 9 rounds, I promise to give you the best work out I possibly can.
