  • I especially like the fact that you can join in the round at your convenience rather than having a specific time slot to work out in. Also, the trainers are very friendly and extremely helpful in helping you reach your goals and go the extra mile to make sure you are doing each round correctly. All in all, it’s a very positive atmosphere!

  • At first the thought of joining a kickboxing gym intimidated me, because I had not worked out in years. I didn't think I could keep up with such and intense workout. However, having a trainer available to work with me and modify workouts as needed definitely helped encourage me and most importantly strengthen me overall. I'm now at the point where the trainers are pushing me to do more, because I'm stronger than when I first started! I also love the fact there are no class times and I can go whenever it's convenient for me. And to top it off, the fact that I can get a high intensity full body workout in just 30 minutes is amazing! Bottom line, you need to try 9round for yourself and see how it will change you for the better! Tell them Tiger sent you!

  • I like that I can just join in the session at anytime rather than going to a scheduled class. I also love the one on one coaching from the trainers whether it is to steer you in the right direction when you are not doing a round properly, or just the encouragement they give that allows you to realize that you can do this, and inspires you to keep coming back!

  • Joey <span class="nick-name">"Goose"</span> Selage
    Joey "Goose" Selage
    Joey is one of the owners and trainers at 9Round Colts Neck. He grew up in Central Florida and is a huge sports fan (Go Giants! Go Mets!) Joey has a background is sports TV production and project management. He became a 9Round member in February 2015. His favorite exercise is uppercuts on the wrecking ball!

    Bethany "The Brit" Selage
    Bethany is one of the owners and trainers at 9Round Colts Neck. As her fighter name suggests, she was born "across the pond", but grew up a Jersey Girl. She got the fitness bug in February 2015, joined 9Round and hasn't looked back. She has a background in performing arts, but a passion for helping others reach their fitness goals. Her favorite exercise is pad drills!

    Amanda "MohawkMandy" Kenberg
    Mandy is the lead trainer here at the Colts Neck location. She has 15 years of mixed martial arts experience, and enjoys weight training as well. Her martial arts mentors inspired her to become a trainer and help people become a better, more confident version of themselves! Outside of fitness, Mandy LOVES Halloween, and will find any excuse to dress up throughout the year. She is also a fan of hiking, roller coasters and doing things that challenge her physically and mentally. Mandy's favorite move is the Roundkick, and loves Pushups too!
