We are definitely not your everyday gym. 9Round is a unique fitness circuit designed to give members a fun, high intensity, full-body kickbocking workout in 30 minutes. There are no set class times, meaning you can come whenever you want. The workout is comprised of 9 different stations, where you perform different sets of exercises, changing stations every 3 minutes. The workout changes every day so you can never get bored. At 9Round you will get a mix of aerobic, anaerobic, strength & resistance training. The best part is you get a PERSONAL TRAINER with every workout that will guide you through til the end.

Cortney "Lil Red" EmbryCortney Ledford Embry (Grubb) is a native of Chattanooga. Her major at U.T.C was in Criminal Justice with a minor in German. She was a corporate trainer with J.Alexander's Restaurant until the birth of her son. After being a Stay at Home mom for 8 years, she was ready to take on the challenge of motivating and encouraging others in the 9Round family. Cortney and Phil are very active with their 10 year old Xavier. Without 9Round, they wouldn't be the Spartan Beasts they are today! If you don't see them at the gym then they are out on the course. Phil "The Thrill" GrubbPhil is the owner/operator of 9Round Hixson and 9Round Chattanooga/E. Brainerd. He has a physical fitness background for over 20 years. Everything from playing college football, Coaching, Spartan races, and training for MMA fighting, Phil has found that 9ROUND delivers the best workout around. After college he let himself go and gained A LOT of weight. He started working out at 9Round in 2012 and lost 160 pounds. Being a product of 9R, Phil liked it so much that he bought the E. Brainerd location. He enjoys spending time with his family and 9Round partners Cortney "Little Red" and Xav "The Brave".
Hannah ""The Hurricane"" CothronHannah Cothron was born and raised in Chattanooga. She graduated from UTC with a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education. Hannah taught the last 7 years in Hamilton County. While teaching Hannah was also a spin and boot camp instructor at The Rush. Hannah's passion for fitness and helping others led her to leave teaching and begin personal training at Fitness Together. She truly believes fitness and nutrition are key components for a happy, healthy, and successful life. Bored with her regular routine at the gym, Hannah decided to try out 9Round. She fell in lvd and hasn't stopped. Hannah feels 9Round provides the most effective and enjoyable workout possible. Hannah and her husband Trevor reside in Hixson. They have two girls, Mckinley who is 12 and Saylor who is 6. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and strength training.
