9Round Certified Trainers
Laurent "The French" BlondeauLaurent is the owner/operator of 9Round in Huntington Beach. He got his nickname from his hometown in France! After living in Paris for 10 years, he went to a French territory in South Pacific where he worked for 10 years in a scuba diving center. While in the South Pacific he discovered beautiful Southern California and immediately fell in love! Combining his passion for exercise, kickboxing and his ability to help people to reach their desired fitness goals, he decided to open a 9Round gym. Laurent is a brown belt in Shotokan karate and loves sharing with all of his members.
Mario "Viper" DominguezMario Dom, short for (Dominguez), a fitness enthusiast with a background of wrestling where he was given the nickname viper for his quickness. Also a big UFC fan which influenced him to do mix martial arts recently , Muay thai . He does calisthenics and parkouring to add to his adrenaline activities and brings that high energy to every workout. Well rounded in the knowledge of fitness to assist those who want to better themselves to get that body & mindset they want! This is his first fitness job and couldn't be more thrilled to work at a great atmosphere where people are having fun while working out! So, come join him on this new fitness journey and surround yourself around with fit minded individuals at 9round kickboxing!
Phyrun "Cambo Rambo" DeabPhyrun Deab was born of Cambodian decent in Thailand and raised in Southern California. Cambo Rambo was a nickname he gave himself (Cambo short for Cambodian, and Rambo for his military background). Phyrun proudly served in the United States Army for 3 years and 1 tour in Afghanistan. Through out his military career he was trained in close quarter combat, Mixed Martial Arts, as well as many of the core workouts throughout 9Rounds routines. His military experience has pushed him to excel in every aspect of his life; from his career in Illustration and Graphic Design, to his daily workouts. The perception of military drill instructors is the total opposite with Phyrun, unless you want the Basic Training workout, he will support you in your fitness goals at 9Round.
Rachel "Sunshine" ClarkI'm Rachel, just moved here from Wisconsin about a month ago. Fitness and health is my passion! I love helping people live happier and healthier lives. This is why I decided to make the big move to California to pursue my career and passion. I have my BS in Health, Human Performance and Coaching. Currently 9Round certified and working on getting a few more certifications as well. I have been a personal trainer for about 10 years now, but have been a 9Round trainer for over 2 years.
