About the team
Michelle is the owner of 9Round at 82nd St. She believes that fitness is here to be enjoyed and ensures that the atmosphere is always encouraging, en...ergetic, and accepting. Michelle has always had a passion for helping others and became a nurse. As a nurse, Michelle discovered 9Round and instantly fell in love with the workouts. Her passion for 9Round grew to the point that she felt that she could continue helping people in new ways that nursing did not provide. Michelle believes her role is to motivate, enable and make working out a fun and rewarding experience at 9Round. Michelle loves to see members achieve their personal health and fitness goals through the 9Round way: Stronger in 30 minutes, both physically and mentally. More

Jazmin is an Indiana University graduate eager to contribute more to the health and fitness industry. She loves to share her passion for fitness and h...as a strong desire in helping others live an active lifestyle by achieving their goals. When she is not in the gym, you can find her immersing herself in sports, whether it is by supporting family by visiting their football games, coaching high school volleyball, or playing herself as a means to keep active. Jazmin loves to create workout routines and spread her love for fitness and health by coaching family and friends on how to stay healthy and fit. When she is not in the gym, you can find Jazmin traveling overseas for philanthropy work or various places around the world for leisure. She also loves to try out new restaurants, go to music concerts, and spend time with her family and friends. Jazmin will bring lots of positive energy as she works with you to get you through 9rounds! More
Growing up in Bloomington, IN, Mabuchi has a background in sports participating in track and field, basketball and soccer, with soccer being his prim...ary sport. Soccer led to him competing in college at Anderson University, a Division III institution. Working as a college coach, as well as with youth from age 10-18 with Indiana Olympic Development Program, and Hoosier FC has led to Mabuchi developing a great range in how to help others. Coaching and training athletes now for 15+ years has has given him a platform to share his own passion for fitness while helping others any way he can in their journey. More

I love many things about 9round. It is a totally unique experience compared to any other gym. 9round makes it possible for me to balance exercise and my crazy work life. I love that I can show up at a... ny time with no “sign-ups” and get in a 30 minute workout. The variety in the workouts is also something I enjoy; the entire workout is different every single day. Having a workout all ready and set for me allows me to totally turn off my brain after work and just sweat it out! I always look froward to seeing the friendly and encouraging trainers. THIS LOCATION AND OPERATION IS PHENOMINAL!!!! The owner & trainers are outstanding. Hours of operation are a TRIPPLE plus. No guessing when they are open. You just go during normal hours.... Big Pl... us, all franchises need to follow suit. My daughter (a college student) wants to join in Chicago but none of the facilities are open within the timeline (due to broken hours of operation) she has to work out. EVERYTHING. Seriously. I've always enjoyed being an active person, yet when it comes to "working out" I can't ever stick to a plan. Then I found 9Round. I LOVE the fact that there is no class time... . So if I get off early from work, I can stop by and get my workout done. If I'm stuck late at work, I didn't "miss my class" and have an excuse not to go. The workout is butt-kicking in the best way possible. I keep finding myself saying "I want to die!" but while smiling. And I keep going back. That really is HUGE for me. When I get my monthly summary and see I've been 6 or 7 times I know the money is worth it...hell, I didn't make it to my old gym 6 times all YEAR! The trainers are all amazing...both as tough trainers who push you and keep you going, and as friendly trainers who will chat with you before/after your workout and who *know* you.
