  • I love 9rounds! I love Most that you have trainers there motivating you throughout your workout! I’m not a very self motivated person so it helps to have positive vibes from the trainers! Also the full body workout is awesome! I don’t want to concentrate on one body part every other day I want An all over body work out and that’s what you get! Also I love The 30 min time frame! I’m a very busy mom and business owner and it works perfect for my schedule!

  • I like the types of exercises we do there. I like punching and kicking the bags. I like that it is 30 minutes quick and there's a trainer there for encouragement. I like the way it changes. This keeps it from being boring and hits different muscles. I think there's some science behind changing your routine that increases your fitness. 9Round is the most convenient and effective workout I have ever done. Thanks for being there!

  • 9Round did the impossible: it made me excited to workout. I actually have motivation to get out of bed in the morning and go. Their system is amazing. The three minute rounds are the perfect amount of time. Before you know it, you’re at round 6 or 7, and you’re tired but so pumped to keep going and finish the 30 minutes. The trainers are amazing at what they do, and it helps tremendously having them there to guide you through the workouts and encourage you. It’s an amazing way to channel all your energy and emotions into something constructive. I feel so empowered because of 9Round.

  • I like the ability to go to the gym any time it is convenient for me (during operating hours). The trainers are kind to me and make me feel that they are glad I came to the gym . I drive 30 minutes each way to get to the gym.

  • It's not just one thing. I enjoy having someone there to push me through when I'm getting tired and want to stop. I enjoy that the trainers take the time to get to know me and my abilities and then modify a move if needed. I enjoy being able to hit the bags as hard as I can some days, as it really relieves a lot of stress. I enjoy walking in when I'm ready and not set to a class time, that really make a huge difference for me. The really great thing is the other members, it is like having a family to workout with every time I go in to 9round. I am always talking about it with anyone who will listen.

  • I enjoy lots of aspects of my 9Round experience. I like the variety of the workouts, that the exercises are changed up every day. I like the fact that for the most part each workout engages different muscle groups, like arms, legs, abs. I like that the workouts are relatively short and I know coming in how long it will take. I also like having a trainer there to push and encourage me.

    Allen ""Dynamite"" Dixon
    Our owner Allen is from Wellford, SC but currently resides in Inman. He graduated from Byrnes High and attended Spartanburg Community College. Allen loves that the 9Round workout changes daily and an individual can push themselves as hard as they want. He also appreciates the fact that a trainer, an awesome nutrition program, and the heart rate system Pulse are all there for you to utilize. The most fulfilling part is seeing a member reach their goals. He loves to see a person's reaction when they hit a milestone whether it be clothing size, weight loss, or improving a technique.

    Relesha Thompson
    Our Manager, Relesha Thompson was born and raised in Spartanburg, SC. She graduated from Paul M. Dorman High School and attended Spartanburg Community College. She is also a U.S. Army Veteran. Relesha has 4 children of her own so she definitely understands the struggle of getting back into shape and constantly maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She is a Certified Personal Trainer along with being 9Round certified as well. She has 8 years of personal training under her belt and is very eager and determined to help you reach your fitness goals. She was a member of 9Round and stands behind the 9Round concept.     Hi, I’m Jackie Xiong. I’m from Akron, Ohio. I moved to South Carolina to pursue a Mechatronic Degree. I fell in love with fitness at a very young age. I was always active and curious. As the years went on, I’ve learned so much about the fitness life. I see the benefits and how it changes the mind and attitude of an individual. Fitness brings new challenges and that’s what makes it exciting. I believe health is wealth!

    Jordan Kyles
    Certified trainer, Jordan Kyles, is originally from Orlando, FL. She was a basketball player for most of her life earning a scholarship at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Shortly after graduating in 2008 she married her husband Marques and they moved to South Carolina in 2013. Seeking a good workout post collegiate athletics she joined a boxing/ Jiu-Jitsu gym and quickly developed a passion for it. Shortly after she began working as a 9Round trainer in Rock Hill, SC. She took a hiatus for a few years to work and coach basketball at Northwestern high school in Rock Hill, but found she missed her 9round family. She missed working at 9Round so much that in 2016 she resigned from her full time job at the school to come back as a trainer after alongside a coaching move to York Prep Academy. She served as the head trainer at 9round Rock Hill from April 2016-July 2017 when she moved to Spartanburg for another coaching opportunity. She is currently the Assistant Basketball Coach at Converse College and is also pursuing her Masters in Liberal Arts. She dedicates her life to inspire and impact both her 9Round clients and her basketball players to better themselves physically and mentally. When not at 9round or on the basketball court Jordan enjoys running, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and 2 dogs.

    Brittany Charley
    My name is Brittany Charley. I graduated from Calhoun county of St. Matthews S.C, with a certification in biology from OC Tech. I am currently attending USC Upstate majoring in Exercise Science, with a minor in Physical therapy. I've always had a passion for fitness being that I grew up playing all sports. I have a twin who is currently serving in the army, and it's a big thanks to her that I'm so competitive considering I had to out do her in everything. My favorite sport has always been basketball. I stopped after high school after tearing my ACL & meniscus, and breaking my ankle, however it taught me a valuable lesson. I learned the lesson of helping others fight through what they may think is impossible. I let those complications stop me from pursuing something I loved, which is my main reason for working here. At 9round, as trainers, they allow us to motivate people and push them to reach their fitness goals. That's what I love about this gym vs other gyms around the area. Ever since my incidents, I've always wanted to push and motivate people to never give up because I understand the struggle of wanting to give up on yourself and feeling like no one is there who believes in you. However at 9round I would never give up on anyone who has a goal in mind. I'm grateful to be in a position where I can help be the change in others lives. That's what I love about 9round, no matter how much you want to give up, just get in here and we'll always believe in you and help you reach your goals.

    Our trainer, Alex Mendez-Carranza from Panama City Beach, Florida. He attends USC Upstate, pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. He played soccer throughout high school, and coached throughout South Carolina. He looks forward to meeting you all and helping everyone achieve their goals!
