    Masen "Non-Stop" Needles
    I have been involved with 9Round since I was hired as the Manager at the 27th and Old Cheney location in April of 2016. I am a native of Wilber, Ne, but have always been around the Lincoln area. I attended Doane College where I received my bachelor’s degree in Fitness Management. While at Doane, I was a member of the Tigers track and field team all 4 years. I have been involved in athletics my entire life, participating in basketball, football, baseball, and track and field while in high school at Wilber-Clatonia. Health and fitness has always been a priority of mine, but it didn’t become a passion of mine until my senior year of college when I decided to become a Certified Personal Trainer. Through my experience of helping people reach their health and fitness goals, I have become addicted to coaching, mentoring, and preparing people through their own transformations. Whether the goal is weight-loss, gaining lean muscle, or getting into a habit of exercising on a regular basis, the physical and mental strength gained during the process has made my career choice very rewarding. Each person has a different story, and assisting them to get on the right track through exercise has made my life a joy. As the old cliché says, “Do something you love and you’ll never work a day of your life.” That statement couldn’t be more true for me. When I’m not “working,” I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, Brandy, and my baby girl, Bentley, as well as other close friends and family. Traveling, fishing, attending sporting events, and enjoying a nice cheat meal are also on my go-to list when possible. My favorite round is #8. In my opinion, the speed bag is a mind game. Most members struggle (as I did) when they first try it, but once you get the rhythm, it’s so much fun! Once you get it mastered, you can add different exercises to the routine (burpees, squat jumps, etc.) to keep your heart rate elevated, which is great! I chose 9Round Fitness because I really appreciated the concept. Get a killer full-body workout in only 30 minutes?!? No way! But, once I gave a workout a try for myself, I was hooked! Working every muscle in your body, doing different exercises each and every day, on YOUR OWN WATCH (no class times rock!) is a recipe for success that I will always be passionate about. Bottom line for an effective workout program – Do you see results? The answer with 9Round is always YES!! In addition, I love building relationships with our members and having them know that our staff can be trusted and will do everything we can to help them reach their goals!

    Ben Darby
    Hi my name is Ben and I have been a 9Round trainer for over a year. I have a background in various martial arts and I like to incorporate that experience into my workouts in order to provide a unique experience. I am currently a student at the University of Nebraska with a double major in Nutrition and Exercise science with Dietetics. I love a high energy environment in the gym and I hope to combine my experience, education, and enthusiasm to provide the best workout possible!

    Arielle "Sass" Hurd
    Arielle “Sass” Hurd is originally from Los Angeles, but later moved to Nebraska where she attended UNL. Go Big Red! She’s been with 9Round-LNK since it was just an idea. Fitness and nutrition have had a huge impact on her life the past 3 years, so she wants to share her passion with others and help them build confidence and strength. When she’s not working, you’ll find her at the gym, out with her fur-baby Stella, training for obstacle runs or reading!

    Elijah "Nighthawk" Aden
    Elijah is a Lincolnite through and through. Born and raised in Lincoln, he attended Lincoln Southwest High School and graduated from UNL. He has a need to be active, whether it’s participating in sports or being in the outdoors hunting, fishing, or camping. He is married to his wife Noelle, who is a kindergarten teacher for LPS. They love to travel together and experience new places. From the moment Elijah heard about 9Round he knew he wanted to be a part of the family. “People need to have fun and be passionate about their workouts to see the best results. 9Round offers the benefits of interval training in a fun, quick, 30 minute workout.”

    Peter "Madman" Metzger
    Peter "Madman" Metzger has been bringing tons of positive energy and kickboxing experience to 9Round LNK since day one! Peter is a Friendly guy from Friend, Ne. He lived there until he graduated high school and moved to Lincoln to attend SCC. He enjoys all types of fitness and keeps very active with weight lifting and cardio. His favorite way to keep fit is kickboxing. Hobbies include traveling, working out, and spending time with family and friends. Favorite Rounds : 4 & 6. 9Round was a no brainer for Peter because of his passion for kickboxing and helping others reach their fitness goals. "I believe fitness is very important to help people live a healthier lifestyle, and 9Round is a workout that can fit almost everyone's schedule!"

    Sam "ShortStack" Kalinski
    Sam "Shortstack" Kalinski brings a whole new level of weight lifting experience and tons of energy to 9Round! Sam was born and raised in McCook, Ne. She graduated high school there, then played college softball at Midplains Community College for 2 years. She graduated with her Associates degree in Science, and now attends UNL majoring in nutrition, exercise and health sciences. She has always had a passion for exercise and wants to pursue a career in strength conditioning. Her hobbies are Olympic weight lifting, being with friends and family, and of course doing anything outdoors. Her favorite round is #9 because it's the last one.. and she loves doing abs! "I fell in love with 9Round and the people right when I walked though the doors. The atmosphere is contagious and that is why I love to work here!

    Megan "MDStrng" Harris
    "Megan 'MdStrng' Harris is originally from a small town in NW Iowa. She moved to Nebraska to attend Doane University, where she finished her undergrad and graduate degrees. She started as a member of 9R when the gym opened and has been going strong ever since. Megan has always enjoyed fitness, nutrition, and helping others, so becoming a trainer felt like a natural transition. When she isn't in the gym, you'll find her working at CEDARS, catching up with friends over sushi, or checking out any of Lincoln's live music venues."
