    Mel "Grande" Vettel
    Okay, so not exactly "Grande" is stature; being a former gymnastics flyer for the K-State Wildcats. She says it's due to her weakness for some Taco Bel Grande meals, but we all know it's because she has a "Grande" heart! As a K-State graduate in Kinesiology and mother of two energetic boys, Melissa has a deep passion for helping everyone during their fitness journey - no matter if they are just getting started or are at an advanced level and looking for a greater challenge!

    Jake "The Juggernaut" Huber
    Jake “The Juggernaut” Huber grew up in Kansas where he competed in wrestling and martial arts at a young age earning various awards as well as his 1st degree black belt in Hapkido. After high school Jake served in the United States Marine Corps where “The Juggernaut” competed in MMA fights in Japan and California earning him a spot on the Camp Pendleton Submission Grappling team and All-Marine Wrestling team in North Carolina. Jake has had some injuries due to his vigorous athletics and had gained weight due to not being able to work-out. Since his last major surgery, he has done nothing but HIIT workouts including 9Round and has dropped 60 pounds in the last year. Within the last year Jake has ran several 5k to 10k runs and completed his first half marathon (barefoot!). This new lifestyle helps motivate him to finish his criminology degree at K-State in December 2017 all while spending time with his wife and daughter. The Juggernaut plans to share his experiences at 9Round and help motivate others to reach their goals as well.

    Todd "The Bull" Vettel
    Todd "The Bull" is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps helicopter-borne infantry and is familiar with intense training. He has spent many years in fitness and martial arts, including MCMAP - the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, and finds 9Round to be the ideal platform for combining his needs for high intensity sports and a passion for helping others develop a craft while reaching their fitness goals. Todd's hobbies include training in Jiu-Jitsu and reading. For a hardcore workout, come and find Todd at 9Round Manhattan! Semper Fi.

    Cole "Fire Fox" Fowles
    Cole "Fire Fox" Fowles is a proud native of Manhattan, KS and began study in western/Okinawan boxing and folk style wrestling very young under family members on the farm. Always striving to be better in his chosen arts, Cole has continued his training in Vinyasa yoga, MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo with winning records in all disciplines. He feels 9round is the ideal platform for fitness and is excited to share his passion for the martial arts and health.

    Tim "The Viking" Vettel
    Tim “The Viking” Vettel has a deep passion for training at 9Round. He’s a fun loving, family man with an excitable personality that makes working out seem like a time warp. As former collegiate level football player, he knows how to turn up the intensity. With a no pain-no gain attitude, Tim challenges your mind and body while leaving you with a sense of accomplishment that keeps you focused on your goals. Tim is a graduate of the Master Kickboxing Trainer camp and has also completed training under the legendary boxing trainer Xavier "Bad-pads" Biggs. Join Tim in your fitness journey and let him show you that fitness can be fun!

    Trevor "The Lion" Vettel
    Hear him roar! Trevor "The Lion" is originally from Aurora, NE, but grew up in Decatur, IL. Trevor graduated from college at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, NE. Trevor has always been competitive, participating in baseball, basketball, and football in high school. Trevor also played collegiate baseball. Trevor has always had a strong interest in the discipline of martial arts. He practiced kickboxing in high school at a local gym. 9Round has given Trevor the opportunity to fuel his competitiveness and continue his growth through the best means possible – kickboxing.

    Kassandra "Porcupine" Procopio
    Fun Fact: Baby porcupines are called porcupettes! When I was a porcupette my parents made sure to keep my life active and fun! I was born and raised in Montana so I was never too far from a mountain to hike or too far from a river to kayak down. I was also a gymnast for 6 years and a cheerleader for another 6 years. I followed my cheer career here to Kansas to cheer as a K-state cheerleader my freshman year. I am now currently in KravMaga and getting my certification to teach yoga at the K-state Rec. Center. I have always had a passion for fitness because it has made such a difference and truly enhanced my life. Now I am able to share that passion and help others achieve their fitness goals through 9Round! Closing fun fact: Porcupines are also nocturnal and forage for their food at night and so do I!

    Adam "Peoples Champ" Rogers
    If you’re from Manhattan and knew Adam growing up, you probably wouldn’t say health and fitness was the first thing coming to mind about him. Steadily gaining weight through the years, at 20 years old, Adam weighed his heaviest ever tipping the scales at nearly 265 lbs. It was during this time though while attending Kansas State University, that he finally learned the necessary skills to take the reigns and transform his life. The degree in Kinesiology and Public Health he earned might have had something to do with that. From the beginning of his Sophomore year up unto graduation, Adam lost 70 lbs. and has never looked back. Once graduated - Kansas City was his next stop where a budding career in the field of health and fitness would hopefully take off. Having instructed over 1,000 hours of group fitness while in Kansas City — Adam refined his training styles teaching classes like boxing, bootcamp, Body Pump, yoga, HIIT, spin- cycling, and corrective exercise. He also holds a certification in The BioMechanics Method: Exercise Solutions for Chronic Pain. A major passion of Adam’s is working with clients limited by chronic pain and disability. You’ll rarely catch him without a smile on his face and nothing brings out that smile more than training with you at 9Round! :D

    Morgan "Untamed" Barron
    Morgan chose her fighter name based on her favorite quote "You were wild once, don't let them tame you" by Isadora Duncan. To Morgan, this means to not let any aspect of your life be defined by society standards, especially what you think about your body. Morgan entered the fitness world at a young age when she competed as a junior Olympian gymnast and has stayed active with various sports since then including volleyball, basketball, long distance running, and kickboxing! She is currently getting her degree in International Business/Marketing and loves traveling and experiencing different cultures. "I love 9Round because it matches my passion for helping people reach their fitness goals. We truly care about each and every member here and that is why I love being a 9Round trainer!"

    Makenzie "Mak Attack" Holcomb
    Hi! My name is Makenzie "Mak Attack" Holcomb, I'm a Kansas native and current Kansas State student. I'm also a former volleyball player for Kansas State University. After my collegiate career as a volleyball player was done it became my mission to continue to stay physically fit and developed a love for fitness and helping others to achieve their fitness goals as well. I'm a dog lover with a bubbly personality to match. 9round has changed the way I look at fitness and the way I train, making working out and getting into the gym a fun, fast, and a high intensity experience. I believe there is no better way to become physically and mentally stronger while also boosting your self-confidence!"

    Hi guys I’m Henli “The Natural.” My fighter name stems from my knack for quickly picking up new skills. As a former college softball player I enjoy turning up the intensity and pushing you during your workout. Ultimately though, making authentic connections with our members is the best part of my job. My goal is to make your 30 minutes at 9Round the highlight of your day, leaving you feeling exhausted and happier than when you walked in!
