Avoid Chasing What Does Not Exist…
When it comes to health and fitness, most individuals are looking to change their body composition. They are looking to become lighter, leaner, look better, feel better, etc.; these are very common goals that individuals will share with me. With that being said, the sooner these individuals with such goals realize that there is no shortcut, no magic bullet, no magic pill that is going to help their goals become a reality, the sooner they will start to find success.
All too often, individuals are chasing something that does not even exist. They are chasing that shortcut, that magic bullet and/or that magic pill that is going to miraculously expedite weight loss and body fat loss. Achieving success in the health and fitness arena is no different then achieving success in other areas of life. For example, is there a shortcut or a magic bullet that will help individuals build a mega-successful business empire? Of course not. Is there a shortcut or a magic bullet that will help an individual become a world champion athlete? Of course not. Success in these areas takes a ton of desire, commitment, dedication, sacrifice, hard work and a "I'll do whatever it takes" mentality. This is a seven day per week, 365 day per year commitment. Achieving meaningful and sustainable body composition results is no different.
If you happen to be one of those individuals that does "Chase headlines" in terms of the latest weight loss supplement, the latest diet and/or the latest food fad, no worries. Let's make today the first day of the rest of your life and let's start to change the mindset. I encourage you to use all of this time, effort and energy that has been used on chasing the headlines, and put it towards a true lifestyle of fitness and nutrition that will help assist you in achieving meaningful and sustainable results. Keep in mind, when referring to meaningful and sustainable results, these are results that last for a lifetime.
