They know our individual strengths and weaknesses and bring out the best in us. They care about you and take time to explain the routine if you are not understanding it. Take it from someone who was a workout novice and dreaded going to the gym. Now working out is part of my everyday routine. The benefits have been tremendous including getting close to my ideal weight, strengthening my core and back, and being in the best shape of my life.

    Hi, My name is Elias. You can call me Eli. I have been with 9Round for more then 2 years. I see myself as a down to earth humble trainer, but don't let that fool you ;-) I will bring your inner most beast out to play. I love martial arts and have trained in several different styles growing up, I also love fitness, and human connection. I'm a certified personal trainer who lives a holistic lifestyle that includes, reading, taking naps at parks, creating fun and challenging work outs and skate boarding.     Sarah has been training clients at 9round for almost 1 year. She is certified in cardio kickboxing and teaches group fitness classes. She enjoys combining kickboxing, running Lake Merritt, HIIT Training, and weight lifting for her own fitness routine. Her favorite aspect of working at 9round is the community and getting to know clients one on one. When she isn’t at the gym, she enjoys sunny walks around Oakland, volunteering providing homeless outreach and healthcare access services, and trying new restaurants.
