We are definitely not your everyday gym. 9Round is a unique fitness circuit designed to give members a fun, high intensity, full-body workout in under 30 minutes. There are no set class times, meaning you can come whenever you want. The workout is comprised of 9 different stations, where you perform different sets of exercises at each station, changing stations every 3 minutes. 9Round Delivers The Ultimate Body Transformation Program For All Fitness Levels 9Round is a specialized fitness center dedicated to serving clients who want a unique, fun, and proven workout that guarantees results. 9Round offers a kickboxing theme fitness program that incorporates a functional, interval, cardiovascular, and circuit training regimens. The programs consist of a proprietary system of 9 challenging workout stations developed by a professional fighter. Whats Included With Your Membership TRAINER INCLUDED Because our workout changes every day, you will have a trainer to instruct and motivate you throughout each and every workout. HEART RATE TECHNOLOGY 9Round provides you with the most advanced heart rate training program in the world. - *At participating locations 9ROUND GLOVES You will receive 9Round Gloves, which will allow you to hit as hard as you want without the risk of injury. NUTRITION GUIDE You will also have access to our 9Round Nutrition Guide written by Dr. Rick Kattouf. You will learn the 4 principles that will help you burn body fat and build lean muscle. HAND WRAPS You will also receive 9Round Hand Wraps for wrist support and comfort. Don't worry, our trainers will teach you how to wrap your hands in no-time. NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT Got a nutrition question? You will receive direct access to Dr. Kattouf through the Online 9Round Nutrition Forum to get the answers you need.  

Strength: Stations 1-2

You'll use dumb bells, kettle bells, medicine balls, jump ropes and other equipment to build strength and stamina. Our trainers help you at every station.

Kickbox Fitness: Stations 3-8

The real fun begins as you punch and kick heavy bags to build power, double end bags to increase coordination and timing, and speed bags to develop shoulder conditioning and speed.

Abs & Core: Station 9

You’ll tighten and strengthen all the muscles in one of the most common trouble spots, your core, which improves your ability to perform any movement you do for work, exercise, or leisure.

How It Works

  • You wear your 9ROUND PULSE belt during your workout.
  • As you work out, the device tracks how hard you’re working and displays your effort rating, your heart rate and calories burned on a monitor inside the 9Round club.
  • You can easily see if you’re in your optimal fat burning zone and adjust your effort up or down as needed.
  • View your results and progress any time from the app or your online account. Your results are also emailed to you after each workout.

    Derrick Holoman is a fitness professional with a strong business background in advertising and marketing. Holoman was previously a Personal Trainer and Coach with TV Fitness of Ferndale Michigan, where he trained various clients, both individuals and groups. He brings more than a decade of experience in fitness and fitness training to 9 Rounds Royal Oak As a scholastic State Track and Field finalist, an NCAA division one scholar/athlete in football at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant MI and a fitness trainer, Derrick understands protocol and dedication needed to be both mentally and physically fit. Derrick is certified in Insanity and Turbo Kick Live through Beachbody, and MMA certified. Derrick also brings nearly a decade of business experience to 9 Round Royal Oak. During his time in graduate school at DePaul University in Chicago, he began his business career as a Sales representative with The Cintas Corporation and later with CareerBuilder.com as an Inside Sales representative before returning back to Michigan.     A'Lecia "Fuzzy Front Kick" Hollins
    Meet our newest trainer A'Lecia "Fuzzy Front Kick" Hollins! Hollins is a business professional with a diverse background that recently found love in helping others achieve their body goals. Hollins was a ballet expert for 12 years before a horrific accident during junior training for the US Army. She was unable to walk for a full year but did not let that stop her as it was during that time that she obtained several fortune 500 contracts as a professional Event Coordinator. Once Hollins regained her leg strength and was able to walk freely again, she traveled overseas for sometime before settling in at Northwood University in Midland,MI. It was there at NU that she found love in helping others transform their bodies as she had hers, still recovering from her accident. Once her time at NU came to an end, she began searching for a place to continue her journey in recovery but also to help others achieve their body goals as well. As a 9Round Certified Trainer, A'Lecia brings a very personal level of understanding and commitment to 9Round Royal Oak.
