  • Hmmm, what don't I like.... LOL! I love the whole experience. The fact that I can get a full, amazing workout in 30 minutes covering everything from cardio to abs and a full body burn. I love the support of the trainers and staff who are encouraging from start to finish and who are always ready to answer a question or help with my form. Don't regret for one minute my decision to join!

  • I’m new to the whole fitness thing, so having a trainer right there to help with proper postures or modified moves is crucial! Plus, the heart monitors ensure I get the right intensity for my body. 9Round Natomas has such an amazing team and atmosphere. I never thought I would enjoy working out. I’ve wasted hundreds of dollars on gym membership, just to feel lost with complex equipment. 9Round has been the best investment in not only my health, but my teen’s as well.

  • I’ve recommended 9Round Natomas to many friends and colleagues because it is truly the best gym experience & workout that I’ve found. In my opinion this is a result of the incredible trainers and Keba’s leadership. I’ve been a member of many gyms (on the higher end side) and never before have I had all the trainers and owner greet me by name every time. That personal touch is so rare and it makes the 9round experience so unique. The workouts always leave me feeling like I accomplished a major fitness gain and I’m so thankful for Tomas, Emily, Basel and Chris for amazing workouts every session and for suggesting ways I can modify workouts to further challenge myself.   • I love that I'm getting a full body workout even if I only have 30 minutes to go to the gym. Also, the trainers at the Natomas location are AMAZING. They are constantly making sure I'm challenged and if I have any questions (most recently muscle soreness) they are super helpful with stretches, workout mods, etc. I can't imagine a better gym experience.

  • 9Round is truly a great gym! Every trainer knows you by name. They make you feel welcome each time you come in. They learn how to push you to your limits for the short time that they have you. I’d recommend this gym to anyone who is tired of having to come up with a workout when they go to the gym. You come in, and the workout is already created for you. After 30 minutes, you leave feeling accomplished, knowing you got a full body workout. I absolutely love this gym!

  • The customer service. Every day I’m greeted by name and the staff are experts in what they do. If for some reason I’m unable to do an exercise they will work with me to quickly modify. They make me want to keep coming back and I enjoy it! Highly recommend!

  • Working with all of the trainers is the best experience I’ve had. They have all been there for me and others as we get our health, mentality, strength and lead a positive life style. Also getting to know other 9rounders that are there pushing it hard everyday. I met some nice folks there and became friends. As for myself, I’ve been thought how to breath properly, punch and kick correctly. Thank you 9round Natomas it’s been quit an adventure. PS.. no burpees ok!

  • I’ve been a member since they opened in Natomas and, almost two years later, I still look forward to going every day. Besides being the best workout, the atmosphere is energetic, non-judgmental, and always a positive experience. The trainers are amazing! I can’t say enough how much I love this gym and everything about it. They care about every member and I consider the owner, Keba, as well as all the trainers, friends.   • 9Round Natomas is a very unique, fun and personable gym. You get one on one training with two different trainers throughout your 30 minute workout. They learn how to push you while keeping you motivated. Every trainer (including the owner) knows you by name, and you are greeted every time you walk into the gym. I love the workouts because it's something new each day so you don't know what to expect when you come in for a workout. I've made a lot of new friends by coming to 9Round Natomas, and the trainers are amazing. I have recommended this gym to many people, and will continue to do so because I think the trainers of this gym truly care about helping you reach your goals! 9Round Natomas is the place to be!

  • 9Round is perfect for my lifestyle. I love working out to instruction by knowledgeable trainers and not having to come in at a set time everyday. It's funner and higher intensity than a regular gym workout, the trainers are accommodating to your personal needs, and you get to practice kickboxing techniques.

    Keba "The Konqueror" Arnold
    Keba “The Konqueror” Arnold has been athletic and a sports fan since she was a little girl. She played basketball and ran track in middle school and high school. As a graduate of the University of Georgia, she loves college football too! Keba became interested in kickboxing after taking Body Combat classes in Downtown Sacramento. When she moved to the East Bay in the Summer of 2015, that’s when she found 9Round in Walnut Creek and fell in love! The rest is history. CPR/AED certified, Keba believes in 9Round so much, she decided to leave her career to open up 9Round Natomas! She can’t wait to help you reach your fitness goals, one round at a time!

    Chris "Knuckles" Jones
    Chris “Knuckles” Jones grew up playing soccer, football, basketball, track and competed in martial arts in New Mexico. After leaving New Mexico for California, he found that fitness was his calling and soon moved to Alaska to follow his dream. There he became immersed in mixed martials arts from being a commentator to training and fighting professionally. In preparation for his fights, Chris spent some time training at the renown Jackson Wink MMA Academy in New Mexico. After an injury, he switched gears and opened up a gym out of his garage and grew it into two locations. After 10 years in business, he decided to close both locations and pursue a career with 9Round. With 20 years of experience in Muay Thai and mixed martial arts, just meeting him you can feel the passion he has for fitness and kickboxing! This, along with his vast knowledge of all things martial arts makes him the perfect fit for 9Round Natomas!

    Chris "The Crippler" Reynolds
    Chris "The Crippler" Reynolds was born and raised in Sacramento. Chris has always been athletic; in high school he was on the wrestling and soccer teams. After he graduated, he continued working out and living a healthy and active lifestyle. Chris is one of the original trainers at 9Round Natomas, joining the team just before the grand opening. He quickly realized how effective the 9Round Workout is and believes "it addresses all your needs at the same time and allows you to get away from tedious cardio." One of his favorite aspects of being a trainer is holding pads for the members and giving them a challenging workout!

    Emily "Mity Mouse" Zarzeka
    Emily "MityMouse" Zarzeka has been athletic since she was four years old. She played soccer and golf in high school and was a competitive cheerleader for 10 years. Over the summer she moved away to Arizona where she discovered her love for kickboxing. After making a career change, she moved back to the Sacramento area and is currently an ACE certified fitness instructor, physical therapy aide, and attends the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Emily has a passion for helping others and a love for health and fitness!

    Alisha "Sweet Pea" Felder
    Alisha "Sweet Pea" Felder grew up playing sports with her brothers and lived a very active lifestyle that included hiking, camping, and fishing. In high school, Alisha developed a love of running and strength training which helped her learn to push herself past boundaries and set goals from a young age. After graduation, a desk job and life took its toll leading to a significant weight gain. In 2017, Alisha started walking again in an attempt to begin getting back in shape. While on a walk she found 9Round Natomas and immediately knew this would be the perfect way to reach her goal. After her first workout, she was hooked and made it a habit to be there four to five days a week. Once Alisha began seeing results, she created a new goal for herself; to train hard enough to become a trainer. Almost 50 pounds later, Alisha is still working hard to be the best version of herself! She's is excited to help you do the same.

    Layne "The Infamous" Redondo
    "The Infamous" Layne Redondo grew up playing just about every sport, including running track and cross country in Austin, Texas. He always had a love for combat sports and started training when he was 16 years old. Layne has trained in multiple gyms throughout the years, and recently transitioned into training at Urijah Faber's 'Ultimate Fitness' in Sacramento. Layne strives to stay current in the world of mixed martial arts. Along with training, in 2012, he started studying nutrition and has since made his health a priority in his life. Layne also believes that hard work beats talent when talent is not working hard.

    Hong "Horsey Porsey" Kang
    Hong "Horsey Porsey" Kang, began training in taekwondo and karate at the age of 7 and has competed in various tournaments since the age of 14. Currently a student at Sacramento State, Hong still enjoys practicing and improving his martial arts skills. When it comes to kicking, he is very technical and often finds himself breaking down the steps in order to launch the kick perfectly. Hong is very passionate about encouraging others and helping people push past their limits to set new goals for themselves.

    Joaquin "Kid Quin" Magpantay
    Joaquin "Kid Quin" Magpantay grew up running track (Events: 200 meter, long jump, and triple jump) in Calabasas. Currently, he is studying Dietetics in Sacramento and has worked as an Assistant Personal Trainer/ Assistant Nutritionist in San Francisco. He fell in love with many aspects of training, specifically, Olympic Weightlifting. As he continues to learn more about the training experience, Joaquin's goal is to teach people about the importance of health and wellness. In his spare time, Joaquin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, training, and hanging out with his Schnauzer, Pepper.
