About the team
Cycling, karate, running, kick boxing, skiing ... Kendra has done a lot of things to keep healthy. As an active person raising 2 boys, she stepped in...to a 9Round gym one year ago and that was it. She found her calling. She left her dual careers in Human Resources and massage therapy, to bring the joy of movement and exersize as fun to the Southern NH coastline. Because of her 18 year background as a licensed, certified massage therapist, Kendra brings a form-centric approach to her training. With proper form, you will get the most out of your workouts, with minimal risk of injury. As both owner and lead trainer, Kendra uses all of the tools in her toolbox to give you a great, safe workout that will keep you coming back for more! More
Hi, my name is Kaity. I am a mother of four very active boys and a hair stylist in my spare time. From the time I was three, through high school gra...duation, I was very active. I cheered, danced, took gymnastics, and played softball. I continued with cheerleading and gymnastics for 10 years after graduation when a shoulder injury lead to surgery and put me out of commission for close to 6 months. Getting back into a routine was tough. Regular gyms weren't my thing, and home workouts didn't keep me motivated enough. Over the years, I've tried a few different kickboxing gyms and knew this was definitely the workout I needed. However, the class times didn't work for me! I finally found my fitness home at 9Round, and after almost a year as a member, decided I wanted to help other people find their passion for fitness through kickboxing. I joined the team, and am ready to help you achieve your fitness goals and keep you motivated on Monday nights! More
With a Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science and playing soccer my entire life and all through college, fitness has always been a passion of mine. ...Between kickboxing, in the gym lifting weights, or outside on a walk, I’m always trying to find ways to be active. A USA-Certified Boxing Instructor, Jon brings almost 35 years of training, fighting and coaching to the gym. He is a huge fan of Boxing and all Marti...al Arts. In 2017, he swam Alcatraz and in 2018, he completed the Spartan Trifecta. He's competed in many Adventure Races and Triathalons in the past, and played several sports growing up including soccer at the collegiate level. Fitness, in particular Boxing/Kickboxing, is his passion. Per Jon, "These activities in my opinion are by far the best workouts for total overall health and conditioning." I am so happy to be back working out at 9rounds, the trainers have been awesome and make you feel safe and comfortable making sure stations are cleaned. I also enjoy being able to book an appointment ... because it makes you more accountable for your workout, committing to a time and going. The only challenge is when people sign up for the popular times and then don’t show, so people miss out, wish there was a way to cut down on that if repeat offenders doing it? Any chance of opening earlier on Tuesday/Thursday? Overall very happy with the workouts, Kendra is the best and love workouts with Tim in the morning!! 9 round isn’t just a gym it’s a family. The trainers are very friendly and help you along the way. If they see you doing something wrong they come over to you and help you correct they don’t point you... out and embarrass you. The gym is extremely clean and as I touch something they are cleaning is right after.
