  • I like the fact that each trainer meets you where you are and helps to push to the next level.

  • I like that the trainer is involved throughout the 30 minutes. I also like that it is 30 minutes of non stop workout. There are no distractions like phone, other ppl grunting, large TV screens with multiple shows at once, etc. 9Rounds is a no-nonsense, hit the ground running kind of gym. I highly recommend it.

  • I love that I can show up at any time and get started right away. Whenever I feel like skipping, I always think to myself, “it’s only 30 minutes!”. The staff are exceptionally helpful, motivating, and I love that they know my name!

About the team

  • Loroine <span class="nick-name">"M.A.C.K. Fitness"</span> McKnight
    Loroine "M.A.C.K. Fitness" McKnight
Loroine has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years. It all began with his love and passion for football and sports. As a youth, in addition to his athletic training, he pushed the extra mile by doing push ups and sit ups daily to gain strength. He was determined because at the time, he was the smallest player on the team did not get much playing time. By his senior year in high school, he was a 3 year varsity letterman, starter, and captain of the football team. He went on to be selected as the MVP, and Scholar Athlete of the year, also earning an All Star selection in his counties All-star football game. He also played basketball, ran track, and went on to college to play Division 1 football. It is through all his athletic training he gained his knowledge on how to stay fit. After graduating from college and entering the work force, he had his own personal struggles with weight gain and poor nutrition habits. In that process, his weight fluctuated to about 270 lbs. Due to the weight gain, Loroine suffered from low energy, fatigue, poor sleeping, and high blood pressure. In fact, his doctor recommended he go on high blood pressure medication, but Loroine refused. It was in that moment that he made the decision to change his diet, exercise regularly and get his blood pressure down naturally with a complete lifestyle change. He devoted his life to fitness, health, and nutrition, and brought his weight down 55 pounds to his current weight of 215 lbs. He also avoided ever needing to be on medication to control his blood pressure. His mission now is help others who struggle with their health, nutrition and fitness and show them that they too can take control of their lives. He strives to help them to become better and stronger versions of themselves.
