About Our Location

9Round Taylors is located on Wade Hampton Blvd. Across from the Publix. Our 30 minute workout is never boring and will burn average 500 calories. As always, your first workout is FREE! Our awesome trainers will help you reach the fitness goals you set.

    Tracy "Dj" Penland - General Manager
    Tracy joined 9Round three months after the birth of her second daughter. She quickly got in the best shape of her life and realized her potential to inspire others to do the same. After a year of solid dedication and passion, Tracy began working at 9Round. Previously, Tracy worked at Westside Club as Director of Membership, and she spent more than 13 years as DJ Scarlett and Event Organizer. 9Round has proven to be a perfect fit for Tracy, as it combines her love for sales, music and fitness. Tracy’s dedication to an active lifestyle has carried on to her two beautiful daughters. 12 year old Caitlyn currently enjoys Softball, Swimming, & Gymnastics and 4 year old Ella Belle enjoys going to The Little Gym & doing anything her sister & mother are doing. Tracy is currently the General Manager of 9Round Taylors and North Greenville.

    Dylan "MadMitts" Carroll
    I am from South Bend Indiana! I grew up playing multiple sports. I had a D2 college basketball scholarship to Bob Jones University. I was an assistant basketball coach and a parkour instructor. I love the health and wellness and fitness industry and 9Round has become my passion!

    Michella "Beast" Jackson
    I started having a passion with fitness in 1997 while playing basketball, track, tennis,and weight lifting for PE class. I attended Anderson University where my talents advanced. After school I became a Behavioral Counselor for 10 years working with troubled teenagers. Working with troubled teenagers made me learn that "A great teacher is also a student". Ten years working with teenagers taught me that I love motivating people to get the best out of them and to be patient and kind, but tough with a even balance. While making goals for others, I as well made a goal for myself. I began training for competitions in 2013 and placed top 5 in figure at the Mid-Atlantic Classic 2014 Charlotte NC. At 9Round I want to encourage, motivate and lead others to believe that they can reach there fitness goals as well. Lets Gooooo!

    Sarah "Thing 1" Egan
    Sarah Egan aka "Thing 1" nicknamed with her upbeat kickboxing counterpart "Thing 2", has been physically active her entire life. Sarah competed in competitive sports from the time she was able to walk all the way until she was a Division I Rower at Clemson University. Sarah joined 9Round in January of 2016 and immediately fell in love with the structure of the program. She quickly saw results and started reaching her fitness goals. She loves the convenience of no class times and how it worked along with her crazy schedule of being a Fifth Grade teacher! Sarah enjoys coming in and taking every workout to the next level and wants to help you do the same! You will only ever regret the workout you DIDN'T do! So come on in and let's reach your goals together!

    Sasha "Thing 2" Stoundenmire
    Sasha Stoudenmire, also referred to as "Thing 2" with her kickboxing counterpart, and athletic duo, "Thing 1!"- participated in sports as she was growing up, and has always focused on having a healthy lifestyle. Being a fifth grade teacher, she's learned the art of patience, and persistence. She's also learned that hard work pays off, and loves the progress she's seen in her time at 9Round! Sasha joined 9Round in January of 2016, and immediately fell in love with the structure of the program. She loves the high-intensity workout that is ever-changing, and always challenging! She's lived a busy lifestyle, and has found that 9Round fits her lifestyle best! 30 minutes, with a certified trainer that is there to motivate and push you- what more could you ask for? She has pushed herself to reach goals she once thought unattainable, and can't wait to help you do the same! Work hard, and be PROUD of what you achieve!

    Heather "The BAD@$$" Barwick
    Heather was a multi-sport athlete throughout school, having played basketball, softball, and volleyball. During her years of playing sports, she has been awarded MVP titles and Athlete of the year. She played Roller Derby with Greenville Derby Dames for 2 years where her team ended with a winning season. Heather is also an avid outdoors person. She enjoys Kayaking, hiking, and camping. She became a member of 9Round around a year ago and was down "right hooked"! She enjoyed the workout and stress relief so much that she decided to become a trainer there to help others achieve their fitness goals!

    Hannah "DeathStar" Largent
    I was born and raised in Texas where I lived a very active lifestyle taking care of the many animals and chores around the ranch. I moved to Greenville 12 years ago and was thrown into sports at school. My favorite sports are volleyball and soccer. I played high school varsity volleyball for 3 years then sports died down and I started working. I had various jobs most of which were in costumer service. I passed 9Round gym constantly on my way to work and always wanted to see what it was like. I was so excited when I finally got the job. I love working in the 9Round atmosphere. It is exciting, fun, productive and sometimes crazy. I love that I now have a job that I can help make other people's lives better.

    Jason "Tha Crusher " Morse
    Jason’s life was changed when he joined 9Round over 7 years ago. For the first time he found a workout that was fun, effective and worked with his busy retail career. After losing over 25 pounds working out and following the 9Round nutrition program he was able to get in the best shape of his life. Jason is thrilled to share his passion and enthusiasm for the 9Round program with the members and motivate them to reach their personal fitness goals.

    Lindsay "R.I.P." Cole
    I started 9round as member in June. Before I had just been working a lot and working out at other gyms. Not feeling it was enough, I wanted something more intense with someone to push me. I have always done sports in my life but hadn't really kept with one. Becoming a 9round trainer meant a lot to me because I got to love being a member and being pushed to becoming a trainer and pushing others to their fitness goals. Love 9round and everything about it!! Best part of my day, everyday!

  • Ever since I can remember I have always had insecurities with my appearance. I remember at a very young age staring in the front of the mirror for hours and pin pointing everything that I saw wrong with me and trying to figure out what I could do to fix it. At the age of thirteen I developed an eating disorder that I would continue to have for the next twelve years of my life off and on. Along with that I tried every "quick fix" diet and "magic pill" that I came across. As I began to lose the weight I thought finally I found a way to lose weight and hopefully keep it off. But to my surprise or let's call it blindness I put all the weight I lost back on and then some! It wasn't until the winter of 2015 that my sister Amanda told me about this new gym she had been going to and how much weight she lost. I told her that was awesome and I'm so proud of her but gyms were not for me. I have tried to workout with my husband Michael who's in the Army before and I hated it! I was not a "work out" person and I never would be or so I thought. After weeks and weeks of begging me to come try it out I finally did on Valentines Day weekend 2015. To my surprise I liked it and at the end of my first workout I joined. Now don't think my story is over because it's not. I would go to 9Rounds here and there I still wasn't committed to going like I was hoping I would be. But in the Fall of 2016 after my husband left for his third tour overseas. After standing in front of the mirror for over an hour and looking at all my imperfections that only I could see I finally had enough of the person in the mirror staring back at me and I decided then and there I had enough! I reached out to one of the trainers Tracy "DJ" Penland and told her I don't care what she had to do I wanted her to text me everyday to make sure I got my butt in there! I started out going twice a week and then three and finally got to four times a week! I found myself having more energy then I have ever had before but along with that I also started changing my eating habits. I started to eat cleaner and make better healthier choices when it came to my food and with in weeks I started to notice little changes here and there. The once woman that said she would never become a "work out" woman FINALLY was! I absolutely love going in there and putting those gloves on and challenging myself more and more with each workout. I feel so amazing after I'm done. Even more so I have done it the healthy way for the absolute first time in my life and have kept the weight off for almost seven months now and I don't plan on stopping. I have the energy to do more fun things with family and can keep up with my son and step-son to lol. I can't thank the amazing trainers especially Tracy for believing in me and it giving up on me and pushing me because she knew I could do it! Joining 9Rounds for me I thought was just joining a gym I never thought it would be joining a second family.

  • I am 50 + years old and started 9 rounds with a lot of gym experience under my belt. I also am a runner as well so I wasn't sure 9 rounds would be enough of a challenge for me. I found that was it not only enough but after about 3 months of consistent workouts I began to see my running benefit from the 9 round workouts! My posture was better because my core was stronger and to my surprise my running time began improving as well. I have also never been as consistent as I have with the 9 rounds program. It's liberating not having to think about what I will do when I get to the gym or if I will be late for a class. 30 minutes is really enough to see a difference if you are consistent and work hard while you are there!

  • I love everything about 9Round. The trainers push me to my every time I step foot in that gym! And I am one of those people who need that push. The workout is also different and ready every time I come in. I don't ever have to wait or think about what I am going to do. Best part of my day!
