    Halle Wallace - Manager
    Halle started 9Round her senior year of college and instantly fell in love with the fast paced, fun, and exciting environment of the gym. As a student, she struggled with balancing school, a social life, and staying in shape. She soon found a home at 9Round and met her fitness goals she set for herself in no time. Upon graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in Exercise and Sport science, she became a trainer and then moved on to manage 9Round Tuscaloosa. One of her favorite things about working at 9Round are her clients. She loves meeting new people and sharing her own story to show them why 9Round works. Her favorite active break is squat jumps, her favorite round is the speed bag on 8, and she strongly believes that if you hate burpees, you aren't doing them enough! Outside the gym you can find her studying for various fitness certifications, playing with her chocolate lab Hank, or watching Top Chef.

    McKenna Myers
    McKenna is a certified 9Round trainer. She is from Denver, Colorado, one of the healthiest states in the country, so nutrition and fitness has always been second nature to her. McKenna was a competitive dancer and cheerleader growing up but then found her passion in hot yoga. When McKenna came to the University of Alabama for school she struggled to find a fitness gym, of any sort, that fulfilled the fitness level she had always been accustomed to, until she found 9Round! She now trains at the Tuscaloosa, Alabama gym. Favorite Round: Wrecking ball, Round 5. Favorite 30 Second Exercise: Mountain Climbers. Favorite Activity: (outside of the gym) is still hot yoga.

    Danielle Shackelford
    Born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Danielle grew up playing sports and always knew she had a passion for fitness and health. She is now a certified group fitness instructor at PARA and teaches a high intensity class. When one of her clients told her about 9Round she went in to try it out, always looking for something different to incorporate into her fitness routine. She liked it so much and did so well, she was offered a spot as trainer she was excited to take. Some of Danielle's favorite things about 9Round are the fun and fast paced energy, bonding with her coworkers and clients, and waking up sore the next day. Her favorite round is round 9 core, and her favorite active break is lunge hops. When she isn't training you can find her painting, songwriting, worshiping Jesus, and listening to Widespread Panic. She's a firm believer that art is as important as exercise, and everyone should do a little of both every day!
