9Round Certified Trainers
Brandon "Sampson" HargroveBrandon has been involved in Martial Arts for over 20 years. He is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has been involved in Gracie Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai for the last 9 years. He currently holds a brown belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu under Spencer Canup and Royce Gracie affiliation. In addition to Martial Arts, he has been a certified Cross Fit Trainer for the last 6 years. Brandon and his wife moved here from North Carolina 2 years ago and plan on making Charleston their new home. In his spare time, he also enjoys front-end web developing, spending time with his wife and dog, traveling, being outdoors and meeting new people. Brandon enjoys being a part of the 9 Round team while pursuing his passion of teaching and helping others reach their goals.
George "Drago" LavrovGeorge "Drago" Lavrov is originally from Russia. He has been a martial arts practitioner for over 15 years. Training experience includes karate, kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He has competed at regional and national tournaments in Russia and in the US: IKF World Classic Kickboxing tournament in 2012 (Orlando, FL), 2015 IBJJF Atlanta open and others. He also enjoys spending time with his family and playing hockey with his son. Drago loves the fast pace of the 9round workout and helping others to achieve their fitness goals......but beware! You better do as he asks or he will break you!
Daniel "Destroyer " SokolDaniel "The Destroyer" Sokol is a graduate of the College of Charleston. Daniel got involved with 9 Round because he wants to help others better themselves, and because he knows how important it is as an actor to have a healthy body and mind. The Destroyer loves that the 9round workout doubles as a stress reliever and is there to push our members to achieve goals that they did not think were possible.
Jessica "Powerhouse" GukasovJessica "Powerhouse" Gukasov joined 9Round in June 2014 and instantly fell in love with the fast-paced, dynamic workouts, the environment and all that 9Round had to offer. She became a trainer shortly after and loves using her competitive spirit and energy to challenge 9Rounders to work hard and reach their goals. Jessica has a passion for fitness and sports and has spent most of her life around both. 9Round has been the perfect place for her to train and inspire others. Just watch her punch and kick and you will quickly understand why she is the Powerhouse!
Sarah "Demolitian " DenardSarah "Demolition" Denard, reigning straight outta Philly, is in the pursuit to get you trim, toned and ready to face the streets of Charleston. Sarah graduated with a nursing degree from Bloomsburg University in 2014, and worked for a year before deciding to fly south and claim residency beach side in Charleston. After joining as a member, 9 Round soon became a consistent and positive outlet to let off some steam. Sarah is excited to share her passion for helping others to reach their fitness goals at 9Round.
