Maureen "Mighty Mo" TwoheyOwner/Operator Maureen "Mighty Mo" Twohey has been a trainer for over twenty years. She is certified through NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) and has taught individual and group sessions. Maureen has enjoyed Martial arts, Pilates, TRX, weight training, and Yoga. She found her calling in August of 2017 when she tried 9Round. It was the first time she felt regularly challenged without feeling that the workouts would become stale. She found the energy and constant motivation at 9Round addicting. She has two children, a thirteen year old son and ten year old daughter. Her daughter is one of her biggest fans and has spent endless hours helping flyer houses and get the word out about 9Round. The Roundkick is Maureen's favorite move and her goal is to have everyone smiling (or grimacing if needed) while experiencing a killer workout every time they visit.
Shelby "Huff and Puff" HoffmanShelby "Huff and Puff" Hoffman began martial arts and boxing when she was in college. Even when finances prevented her from pursuing the boxing bug, she would find an open bag to work, and observe other boxers at the park district. Shelby met a trainer while working out who introduced her to 9Round. She was hooked! She began researching boxers on the internet to learn how to improve her form. Shelby is in her element while running pad drills and helping pushing others to be there best. She recently went back to Harper College to pursue Personal Training. Shelby admires strong, confident athletes such as Muhammad Ali and Courtney Olsen. One of her strong beliefs is that all of us, especially girls, need to feel comfortable in their own skin.
Jill "Southpaw" PodlinJill "Southpaw" Podlin is a mother of three beautiful girls, Mckenzie (12), Morgan (10), and Melanie (4). As a certified personal trainer through, ASFA (American Sport and Fitness Association), she has motivated clients in both individual and group settings. She has recently left a career as a daycare teacher and Director to follow her fitness passion. Before becoming a 9Round Trainer, Jill was a member for almost 5 years. She fell in love with high intensity interval training and the idea of a full body workout in 30 minutes.Jill believes that nothing compares to a killer workout while having fun. When not training, Jill is either driving her children to and from dance and theater or taking a jog with her little one. Her family is a huge fan of Disney and her favorite quote is, "If you can dream it, you can do it"-Walt Disney. She is looking forward to having many successful years at 9Round and training others to enjoy it as much as she does.
