9Round Fitness - An Effective Kickboxing Style Fitness Circuit With NO CLASS TIMES
We are definitely not your everyday gym. 9Round is a unique fitness circuit designed to give members a fun, high intensity, full-body workout in under 30 minutes. There are no set class times, meaning you can come whenever you want. The workout is comprised of 9 different stations, where you perform different sets of exercises at each station, changing stations every 3 minutes.

Take Our Fitness Tour
Stations 1 and 2 consist of “STRENGTH BUILDING”. You will use Dumb Bells, Kettle Bells, Medicine Balls, Jump Ropes, and other equipment to build strength and stamina.
Stations 3-8 are where the real FUN begins. You will strike a variety of bags including 100lb Heavy Bags to build power, double end bags to increase hand eye coordination and timing, and speed bags to develop shoulder conditioning and speed.

Station 9 is dedicated to the core. We want to get you as strong as possible, and the CORE is the key. Besides all the other kicking and punching that you will be doing, we dedicate a full station to strengthening the most important part of your body.

You will also have access to our 9Round Nutrition Guide written by Dr. Rick Kattouf. You will learn the 4 principles that will help you burn body fat and build lean muscle.
You will also receive 9Round Hand Wraps for wrist support and comfort. Don't worry, our trainers will teach you how to wrap your hands in no-time.

Heart Rate Technology
9Round provides you with the most advanced heart rate training program in the world. Keeping your heart rate in the correct "FAT Burning Zone" is critical to getting the results you want. With our screens inside the clubs you will get instant feedback on whether you need to work harder or slow down. You will also receive MEP's for each minute you are in zone.
what are meps?
MYZONE Effort Points(MEPs) are a new metric for measuring physical activity. MEPs accumulate for every minute of activity that a user spends in the 5 effort(intensity) zones based on one's individual maximum heart rate. The more effort that is put in, the more MYZONE Effort points are earned.
Every user receives their own cloud based account where all activity is automatically uploaded acting as an online log book of all physical activity.

The owner, has been in the fitness business for over 10 years. Starting out in Charlotte after attending college at UNC, her first gig was with Peak Fitness, now Gold's Gym. As on of the top trainers in the area for Peak she learned alot about what it takes to be the best. She then moved to personal training on her own out of her home and in 2007 started an outdoor boot camp. Now she is excited for the opportunity to help you in Apex, NC get kickboxking fit, 9 rounds at a time at 9Round - Apex. It has been a great experience learning from the founder and CEO Shannon Hudson and his wife Heather. Over the past few months she has completed the build out of the new facility located in Haddon Hall Shopping Center is committed to making everyone who walks in the door a little healthier than when they walk out. Come visit her and her staff of "Fit and Friendly Folks" at the gym off West Williams Street.
