  • It's four minutes from my house; I get up at 5, get dressed, and go before I can decide not to. I don't have to decide what I'm going to do. I don't have to share or wait for equipment. I can keep to myself or interact with other people depending on how I feel that morning. I like the other people there. The staff are all helpful and attentive (Athens, GA, Timothy Road). I'm done in 30 minutes. Punching and kicking is a lot of fun. I'm feeling better than I have in years.

  • My workouts at 9Rounds are always amazing! The staff is always enthusiastic when you walk in and Tony is THE BEST!!!! I’m not always excited about working out but every workout I complete at 9Rounds makes me want to come back for more! I highly recommend working out here, whether you go to the gym regularly or are just getting started. They will keep you motivated throughout your ENTIRE workout giving you the extra push, make accommodations if needed, and most importantly NO JUDGEMENT!!!

  • I like the workouts are still customized to the individual member even though it is in a group setting. I like that even if you need to modify the work due to experience or injury your still provided a great work out.

  • I absolutely love my 9Round! The owner and trainers are great, the workouts are amazing. This morning working out with me was one member with a hurt knee, someone new who is prone to vertigo, and two deaf members (regulars). Tony was modifying workouts for the first two, taking time to show the deaf members (one of whom has balance issues) the rounds, while careful to gently tap the deaf members to let them know the round was over. He is always smiling, joking, friendly, and giving us an amazing workout. It's my happy-place to be.

    Tony "The Thriller" Miller
    Tony purchased 9Round Athens in September 2015. Prior to purchasing the gym, Tony and his wife were the first members to join 9R under previous ownership. His dream of owning the gym came true just 9 months later. Tony worked on fighter jets in the Air Force for six years. He most recently worked for Publix Supermarkets for over 20 years. He is now embarking on his final career and one that will fulfill his desire to help others reach their fitness goals in an environment that has proven results. You wont regret a 30 minute workout when Tony is on the floor!!

    Hey! I am Taylor! I am a student at the University of Georgia, studying psychology and pre-physical therapy. I am from Kennesaw, GA. I love fitness! Working out is the best part of my day. I played sports all throughout my life and in high school focused on lacrosse. Being a trainer here is awesome and my favorite thing to do is pads with our members. My favorite food is sushi, my favorite color is red, and my favorite exercise would have to be anything abs - specifically, V-Ups :). Fun fact: I can play guitar!!!!!!
