  • I like that its a full body for 30 minutes instead of hours. I also like that i dont have to choose the exercises they are already chosen. You just go in do what they say an leave an you see results an feel so much better.

  • I like the fact that I am getting a complete workout in 30 min. I don't have to show up for a specific class time, so it is very convenient for my schedule. The trainers are very good, and encourage full participation, but allow time to rest in between intervals as needed. I can work as hard as I can for any particular day.

  • I like the high intensity interval training! In just 30 minutes I get a great workout. My body has transformed to body I am proud of!! I love the trainers, they push me so I am always challenged! I look forward to going instead of dreaded it like some classes I’ve been to that are an hour long. I love it!!

  • I love that it's a great and challenging workout that involves your whole body, yet manages to be fun and addictive because of the awesome trainers who are always there to help, motivate, and encourage. Besides all this, the number one reason it works for me is because I don't have to wait for a class to start and figure out how to fit that into work vs home life; I show up straight from work and get it done on my schedule. Love 9Round University!

    Wendy Melson & Maria Rogers
    Maria Rogers and Wendy Melson, owners and operators of your 9Round Kick Boxing Gym. Wendy and Maria have been working out together, doing Mud Runs and 1/2 marathons together for several years and now they are ready to challenge you to reach your fitness goals 9Rounds at a time!

    Sarah "Texas Tornado" Horrell
    Sarah loves all kinds of sports from dance to football and has an undying love for kickboxing & UFC. She is super passionate about kickboxing....if you want proof, just watch the intensity on her face as she demos your round or your active break :) She can empathize with anyone who struggles with weight. At one time, she weighed 235 lbs. and through working out lost a total of 85 lbs. That's right, she went from a size 22 to a size 7. She wants to encourage, motivate and lead others to believing that they can do it too! Her favorite round is 4 when she velcros her boxing gloves! She is our manager and a great trainer!! She was awarded our trainer of the year in 2016.

    Alyssa "Beast" Goldner
    Alyssa has been at 9Round for three years as a member and is new to training but this girl knows how to push the advanced and how to work along side the beginner to reach their goals!. Her time as a student athletic trainer at school for the girls soccer team has developed her skills as a trainer as well. She serves at her church with the special needs kids and has plans to become a physical therapist for either special needs children or veterans. She loves 9Round and credits 9Round for finding her passion for fitness and helping others. Oh...and BTW this girl does 9Round with a weighted vest on...she is known as The Beast!!

    James "Brooklyn" Wedderburn
    Originally from Brooklyn, but loves Charlotte as much as NY. James currently attends UNC-Charlotte and hopes to one day have a career in coaching or recruiting in football. He is quiet by nature but don't let that fool you....he's silently but deadly. Our members love him!

    Stephanie "Steph" Varin
    Graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2007 with BS in Athletic Training (Sports Medicine) and immediately received Board of Certification in Athletic Training (ATC). Passionate about making athletes healthy & strong on and off the field. Received MS in Exercise Science & Health Promotion with a concentration in rehabilitative science from California University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine as Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) & Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) as well as an EXOS Performance Specialist (XPS). Has provided sports medicine and sports performance training services to variety of athletes including our US military, professional, semi professional, collegiate, Olympic and youth sports. Has been a 9Rounder for close to 5 years! Thanks to 9R gained strength and confidence to train and complete in 1st half marathon. Has since completed 6 half marathons and 4 Spartan races and completed the Spartan Trifecta (All 3 Spartan Races in 1 year) in 2016. I am a 9Rounder for LIFE!
