Strength: Stations 1-2

You'll use dumb bells, kettle bells, medicine balls, jump ropes and other equipment to build strength and stamina. Our trainers help you at every station.

Kickbox Fitness: Stations 3-8

The real fun begins as you punch and kick heavy bags to build power, double end bags to increase coordination and timing, and speed bags to develop shoulder conditioning and speed.

Abs & Core: Station 9

You’ll tighten and strengthen all the muscles in one of the most common trouble spots, your core, which improves your ability to perform any movement you do for work, exercise, or leisure.

  • I joined 9round about 1-1/2 years ago. I was intimidated by just the thought of going to the gym but gave it a try. This gym is completely different. And the idea that there is a trainer with you at all times and no set workout times is fantastic. The trainers are knowledgable and helpful, making sure you are getting the best workout in that you can. The schedule works great with mine in that I can get there even a little later than usual and still get in and out in 30 minutes. Owners Jenn and Lee run a class A operation and hire the best trainers to work for them. I CANNOT inagine going anywhere else!

  • i will be a member for a year in June. 9 rounds Covington's trainers are awesome! They work with you and make sure you are doing the exercise correctly. They really want you to get everything you can out of your workout. I have loss quite a few inches and have gotten much stronger. I also can do a regular push up something I could never do prior to joining 9 rounds . Another great thing about going to 9 rounds is that I get to workout with my good friend Lynell. We have a lot of fun and getting results. I recommend if you want to try a new workout that changes up daily you should do it. You will not regret it!!
  • I joined 9 Round last year after relocating to Louisiana from Pennsylvania. I was very intimidated at first but Jenn & Lee were very welcoming and immediately made me feel at ease. The entire staff is friendly and great at motivating me when I think I can't do another burpee, throw another punch, or flip the tire any more!     Lee is a former U.S. Navy Diver, a former military instructor, and a graduate of the U.S. Army Jump School with 8 years of service and extensive experience in physical training with elite forces from around the world. Lee understands how to help you and get the most from your hard work and will motivate you to push yourself to achieve your goals. Lee is an avid bike rider and has completed a 100 mile bike ride, and participated the last 2 years in the MS Ride for the Cure, a two day 150 mile bike ride, and has ran numerous 5K's and is a Certified 9Round Trainer

    Jennifer is a Certified Personal Trainer through Cooper Institute CI-CPT, as well as a Certified 9Round Trainer, and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy with 5 years of service. Letting life get in the way, unhealthy habits began after the birth of her son. Jennifer once weighed over 209lbs. She knows the challenges of being unhealthy and wants to share her passion for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle with you.
