Punch, kick and sweat away the stress and worries of the day. We incorporate boxing and kickboxing techniques in a circuit training format (no contact boxing/kickboxing - just bags). The workout for each of the 9 Rounds is set by the trainers, and it changes daily. This is sure to be the most productive 30 minutes of your day!

Ultimate convenience. A new round starts every 3 minutes. What does that mean? You can literally walk in to the gym at any time during business hours and jump in and start working out at an open station. Each round lasts for 3 minutes. You're done before you know it, and you've worked up a great sweat and completed a full-body workout in just 30 minutes.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The instructors are nice and very helpful. I am new to working out and this has been the best experience possible to start with. I look forward to going 2-3 times a week and will soon be doing more!
Not knowing much about 9Round prior to trying it out, I assumed that it might be too intimidating. I've never put on a pair of boxing gloves in my life.
I needed to know more, so I reached out to the owner, Christy, via Facebook and she immediately responded and answered all my questions. Her positive attitude and great customer service made the decision a no brainer to go in for me free workout. And of course, I signed up for a membership after just 1 workout. I was convinced that this style of workout would be fun, effective and keep me coming back on a regular basis.
5 months later, I still go 3-4 days a week. I get to punch, kick and sweat all the toxins and stress away. I also got my husband to join, and he loves it too. Give it a try. You won't regret it!
As a 43-year-old mom of 2 boys I cam to realize that I was not in shape at all anymore! No more lifting little boys into the car. Holding them up to peak at the animal in the zoo was a thing of the past, and they weighed so much I didn't even consider carrying them up the stairs anymore. Just being a mom was not working as a method of exercises anymore!
I have never been someone that went to the gym. In fact, I have never had a gym membership or even worked out more than walking, since college. I realized it was past time to do something about it. I was feeling sluggish, allergies were taking over my life, and I just needed a lift. After seeing the 9Round car zoom around town, parked by our neighborhood and noticing a LISD discount, I felt like all the signs were telling me to give it a try.
My first "free" workout was so difficult. In fact, I think they should have paid me to make it through! I don't think I have jumped rope since middle school, but I made it and deliriously decided I wanted to give this workout a try. I forced myself to go several times a week. It's difficult to break away from work and being a mom, but I could really tell a difference in the way I felt after just one week. My friend and I got a good laugh at the way I must look when I work out, it is really not my thing, but if I can do it, anyone can!
9Round Flower Mound has made such a positive impact on my life and I am so thankful I joined. The trainers are all amazing, keep me motivated and most importantly they force me to get the most out of my workout. As a working mom,I highly recommend 9Round Flower Mound. Great place for a short intense workout! Total workout time is 30 minutes,; great way to start your day and not take up tons of time. Been coming here since it first opened. First session was free to satisfy your curiosity, then you're hooked!
Owner, Christy, is a great motivator and encourages you through all nine rounds. If you have limitations, she comes up with alternatives without hesitation. Wasn't sure if kickboxing was for me but after completing a circuit , you can see that there is so much more: jump rope, weight exercises, boxing, ropes, TRX cables, abs, etc.
Workout changes everyday to maintain total body workout, always something new. Stop by and give it a try!
9Round Flower Mound is like no other gym/workout that I've ever done. Unlike the "big" gym concept, I walk into 9Round knowing that my workout is already planned and have a trainer on the floor at all times to push me and ensure I'm doing the exercises correctly throughout the 9 stations.
In addition, you get an amazing workout in 30 minutes so it fits in great with my busy schedule. In the 4 months that I've been working out at 9Round, I've lost 11 lbs. and have built noticeable muscle mass. As I close in on my 50th birthday in the next few days, I feel better than I have in a long time and attribute it to the great workout and team at 9Round Flower Mound.
I have been going to 9Round Flower Mound for about 6 months, and I am totally addicted! I work 10 hour days, so going to the gym for a couple hours every day is not an option. At 9Round I am in and out in 40 minutes, and I get a killer workout every time!
I have noticed definite changes in my body! The concept that 9Round is based on makes these two problems easier to deal with. First it is self-contained, meaning everything is planned out for you when you arrive. The exercises are a balanced full body workout focusing on functional strength. If you are a beginner they teach you how to perform the exercises correctly. The exercises change every day so it remains effective and doesn't get boring. Essentially you walk in, workout, and then leave. No thought needed until your next workout. Second, the people (including the trainers) make a much bigger difference than I ever expected. The people around you are working hard so it's natural to get pulled along with the current and work hard yourself - but there is no direct competition.
The trainers are very helpful too; they also make it fun. If you have special requirements they are willing to accommodate that as well. It is not one-on-one attention, but I find it to be enough. It really is like having a personal trainer - but nowhere near as expensive. They are happy to see you walk in, they challenge you, guide you and high five you for a job well done.
Finally, its convenient time-wise. You don't have to make an appointment, and there are no class times. They keep you moving the whole time too, meaning your body really does get a good workout in a little over 30 minutes door to door. I am so thankful that Christy Williams has decided to open this 9Round Gym in Flower Mound; she's so wonderfully pleasant that I don't even want to leave when my time is up!
I just love 9Round Flower Mound! I work harder in 30 minutes than I ever did at the gym. The trainers are always there to push you or assist you in proper movements. Once you try it your going to be hooked!
After my husband and I went to 9Round hesitantly for the free initial workout, we both have come to love this place. The owner's enthusiasm and ability to memorize names (amazing!) makes this a definite workout heaven. I thought I was in pretty good shape until I was halfway through that first workout.

My husband and I began working out at 9Round Flower Mound in December 2013. He was looking for something that would provide cardio and weight training. I had been doing a low impact workout, and was looking for something that was more high energy, We saw a grand opening sign at 9Round and decided to give it a try. The first few workouts left us feeling really sore, and yet exhilarated to do more! It wasn't long until we were hooked.
The workouts are appealing to us because they are only 30 minutes, they are different each day, and it's something we can do together. In the last year, 9Round has become a part of our daily routine. I actually look forward to going, and I don't get to go, I feel like something is missing.
Physically, I feel stronger and more toned. Christy and her staff provide a friendly, non-threatening atmosphere. They do a great job of keeping the workouts fresh and challenging. We feel very fortunate to have such a great place in our community. It has been a great addition to our lifestyle.
Previous to joining 9R, I paid $50 a month to a gym that I rarely attended. Waiting for equipment t become vacant and planning my own workouts became monotonous and discouraging. I had a friend introduce me to 9Round while living in Charlotte, NC. Conveniently, it was located less than a mile from our house. After my initial 33 minute workout at 9Round, I was hooked! I even converted my husband to becoming a 9Round member. We religiously workout 4-5 times a week and never have seen the same circuit twice.
I hate knowing that I am going to miss a work out! My weekly plans now include planning to get my workouts in.

My sport of choice is running, but I was in desperate need of cross training opportunities when 9Round Flower Mound opened its doors. 9Round offers a tough 30-minute workout that will leave you feeling accomplished at the end. It was the greatest workout I have ever done. Each round was only 3 minutes long but felt like 30 minutes each. By the end I was totally exhausted even though it didn't feel like that long of a workout. I would recommend this workout to anyone who has 30 minutes and a will to get fit.
There really aren't words to express this workout. Yes, it's intense but it makes you feel like a rockstar when you finish. The staff is so friendly and encouraging and always creates a fun environment that really pushes you to give it your all. I would recommend it to anyone trying to burn fat and tone up.
