    I needed to know more, so I reached out to the owner, Christy, via Facebook and she immediately responded and answered all my questions. Her positive attitude and great customer service made the decision a no brainer to go in for me free workout. And of course, I signed up for a membership after just 1 workout. I was convinced that this style of workout would be fun, effective and keep me coming back on a regular basis.

    5 months later, I still go 3-4 days a week. I get to punch, kick and sweat all the toxins and stress away. I also got my husband to join, and he loves it too. Give it a try. You won't regret it!

  • As a 43-year-old mom of 2 boys I cam to realize that I was not in shape at all anymore! No more lifting little boys into the car. Holding them up to peak at the animal in the zoo was a thing of the past, and they weighed so much I didn't even consider carrying them up the stairs anymore. Just being a mom was not working as a method of exercises anymore!

    I have never been someone that went to the gym. In fact, I have never had a gym membership or even worked out more than walking, since college. I realized it was past time to do something about it. I was feeling sluggish, allergies were taking over my life, and I just needed a lift. After seeing the 9Round car zoom around town, parked by our neighborhood and noticing a LISD discount, I felt like all the signs were telling me to give it a try.

    My first "free" workout was so difficult. In fact, I think they should have paid me to make it through! I don't think I have jumped rope since middle school, but I made it and deliriously decided I wanted to give this workout a try. I forced myself to go several times a week. It's difficult to break away from work and being a mom, but I could really tell a difference in the way I felt after just one week. My friend and I got a good laugh at the way I must look when I work out, it is really not my thing, but if I can do it, anyone can!

    9Round Flower Mound has made such a positive impact on my life and I am so thankful I joined. The trainers are all amazing, keep me motivated and most importantly they force me to get the most out of my workout. As a working mom,I highly recommend 9Round Flower Mound. The quick, flexible, exciting atmosphere is great every time. I might not want to go workout, but I always leave there happy I did.

    Owner/Operator, Christy, has a background in hospitality - giving her a passion for building relationships. She loves motivating the members to reach their goals and encourage them when the going gets tough! Being a business owner and mom, Christy easily relates to the members needing to take just 30 minutes a day for themselves. In her spare time, Christy enjoys cooking, traveling and shopping for shoes!

    Jesse "Darth Motivator" Ricks
    Jesse Ricks is a mixed martial artist, with concentration in Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Boxing and Jiu Jitsu. Jesse learned the R.A.T system (Rapid Assault Tactics) under Billy Jack Rucks; founder and head instructor of One Source Progressive Fighting. Jesse also has an extensive background in weight training and physical fitness. Jesse brings an energized kickboxing and fitness style to 9Round Kickboxing. Jesse is passionate about teaching and doing what he loves for a living. In his spare time, Jesse enjoys reading and watching movies.

    Zach attended The Cooper Institute in Dallas. He has a background in MMA, specifically boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In his spare time, Zach enjoys being outdoors, hiking and video games.

    A U.S Army veteran, Perry is a NASM certified personal trainer and a 1st degree black belt in Shao-lin Kung Fu. He has worked as a Strength and Conditioning coach for MLS REAL Salt Lake, an Assistant Instructor at the Chinese Shao-lin Center and a a personal trainer since 2012. He is experienced in martial arts, strength and conditioning, functional fitness and body weight training. He is passionate about helping people become the fittest, healthiest version of themselves. He enjoys watching MMA events and Kung Fu movies.
