9Round™ Fort Mill is a specialized fitness gym dedicated to serving clients who want a unique, fun, and proven workout that guarantees results. The 9Round™ workout combines boxing and kickboxing with resistance and cardiovascular training in a circuit style format. We deliver total body results in a quick and convenient 30-minute full body workout, with no class times, and a personal trainer there to help instruct and motivate you each time you enter the gym. In addition, the workout changes daily - meaning your motivation will remain high as we work together to meet and maintain your fitness goals!

    Jordon "Baby J" Simmons
    Owner and Certified 9Round Kickboxing Fitness Instructor Jordon "Baby J" Simmons has had a passion for fitness his entire life. After finishing his college playing career, Baby J embarked on his journey of helping others in the best way he knew how: as a coach. His career took him from the University of Alabama, to the University of Oklahoma, and then finally to Fort Bragg where he served as a Tactical Performance/Strength and Conditioning Specialist training the 3rd Group Special Forces. Regardless of the venue, Baby J found that his happiness was always determined by the impact he had on others through fitness. Jordon uses the Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, as well as his other qualifications such as being a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Certified Functional Movement Screen Professional, and a Muscle and Nerve published co-author in order to create fun, fast-paced workouts for his members at 9Round Fort Mill. He can be found on the floor in the early mornings, and late in the evenings, with plenty of energy and enthusiasm!

    Lynnette "LynSpin" Spinelli
    Manager and Certified Trainer Lynnette Spinelli brings her lifelong interest in health and wellness to 9Round Fort Mill. After careers in both nursing and education and raising 3 children she joined 9Round as a member over 4 years ago. Lynnette developed an intense passion for the benefits of 9Round due to the personal transformation she experienced within months of her consistent commitment to the program. She thoroughly enjoys her role as manager of 9Round Fort Mill because it is a perfect blend of teaching and customer service and allows her to share her passion for 9Round with the growing Fort Mill family. She can be found on the gym floor throughout the week encouraging and pushing members to succeed with her positive attitude and sense of humor.

    Ryan Clark
    Fitness trainer, Ryan Clark, has been passionate about exercise for most of his life. Starting soccer at a young age, he has always been involved in sports, whether it be a player or a coach. With a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Ryan truly enjoys helping people reach their goals and being there for them throughout their fitness journey. He has years of experience in the fields of weightlifting, running, and plyometrics, among other specific fields of exercise and loves to find fun and creative ways to integrate his knowledge into your time at 9Round. Ryan can be found on the gym floor pushing members to reach their full potential and ensuring that it is the best 30 minutes of their day.

    Chris Corazza
    Christopher “Chris” Corazza is a freshman in college studying to obtain his nursing degree at York Technical College. He is an active amateur boxer, competing in tournaments year round. Bringing the technique and discipline taught in boxing, he works to show you a good time and a better work-out! Chris believes in the 9Round gym because it is a quick and efficient full body workout with a personal and non-intimidating atmosphere, ensuring that you get the ideal 9Round experience!

    Stuart "Sensei" Phillips
    Special Guest Saturday Trainer, Stuart Philips, is a four year student of Grand Master Wayne Lewis in the art of Tae Kwon Do. He uses his martial arts experience in order to create a better fitness experience for the members at 9Round Fort Mill! Stuart believes in kickboxing fitness because of its ability to enable both young and mature adults to reach their ideal fitness goals, and then maintain their fitness level with a small weekly investment of time and knowledge. He earned his Masters of Physical Education and has experience with Olympic lifting, kettlebells, water aerobics, running, and jumping rope among their things. He truly enjoys seeing members enjoy the kickboxing experience, as he gets a "kick" out of you!

  • I originally returned to 9 Rounds with the intent of staying for a month or two as a change of pace from my regular workout routine. It's been six months and I have no plans on stopping anytime soon. I love the workouts and I really look forward to Quan pushing me harder every day (he's good at that) and the pad work that we do is one of my favorite aspects of the workouts. I've also worked out with Jordon a bit more recently and I always appreciate his tips on form and the motivation. Always a great workout.

  • What an amazing experience! Jordon and his staff are so hands on and fun to work out with! They took the time to learn each client's name and help push them through each circuit! I thoroughly enjoy my time at 9R - most intense but worthwhile 30 mins ever!!! A great workout for anyone to try!!! Definitely worth it and a lot of fun!

  • As an avid exerciser, these are the most intense workouts I've ever had. Jordon creates daily workouts that are challenging both physically and mentally. I always know that I'll walk out feeling awesome. Definitely worth a try.

  • The first time I went to 9 Rounds I realized how out of shape I was! Every time you go the workout is just as challenging and it's fun and fast, it's a great workout for busy people on the go. The staff is awesome and makes working out fun! I would definitely recommend 9 Rounds to anyone looking for a challenge

  • I have been a member at many different gyms, and by far my favorite has been 9Round in Fort Mill. Jordon and his staff do an incredible job! The intensity of the workout and encouragement from the staff always made a stressful day at the office much better. I have now moved to GA, and the only thing I miss about Fort Mill is 9Round and the amazing staff.

  • I love the intensity of the workouts and the trainers were always there to help me scale when I needed to. The variety of the workouts never make it mundane and my husband and I always look forward to coming. Jordon and the trainers are very in tune with ensuring people are using proper form which is important to me with some of the physical limitations I have. I would not only recommend 9Round for anyone but especially this location, everyone is amazing!
