    Steven "Lazer" Sexton
Steven “Lazer” Sexton is one of the newest members of our team. He is a recent graduate from the University of Maryland. He was an active swimmer in high school and has always tried to maintain a healthy lifestyle. “I have always stayed active but I have never been able to find a workout as good as 9Round. I thought I was in good shape until I did my first 9Round workout and it kicked my butt. Ever since then, I’ve been HOOKED! The workout engages your whole body in a fun, fast-paced way that can fit into any busy schedule. I want everyone to enjoy 9Round as much as I do. I will bring my enthusiasm and energy into the gym every day to make sure each workout is your best!”

    Tyler "Drago" Carpenter
Tyler "Drago" Carpenter is a graduate of Arundel High School where he was involved in their golf and baseball programs. Due to his speed, he was also the designated “pinch runner” on a travel baseball team. One of Drago’s major achievements is his newly published “ “Extreme Coloring Book”, Volume 1. His various athletic abilities, working out at the gym, and artistic talents have allowed him to balance his anxiety throughout life’s daily journeys. More importantly, Drago loves working out with others to gain positive physical and mental results. His passion for living a healthy lifestyle was shared with his Dad when Drago introduced him to healthy eating to combat his diabetes.

It’s great since no matter how out of it you are, you always have the trainers and other members lifting you up and pushing you to be your best.”
  • 9Round trainer
    Darius "The Protector" Sheffield
“Ever since I could remember, I’ve always been into sports. I’ve played basketball on recreational and youth league teams and I also played football in high school. I transitioned my love of actively participating in sports to teaching and training basketball to high school basketball team members and neighborhood kids. This lead to an assistant coaching position for a girl’s high school basketball team. Later I obtained my personal training certification and worked as a personal trainer. I’ve been studying Muay Thai kickboxing the last two years and one day I aspire to pursue a path to professional fighting.”

Hammer has always participated in athletics as a youth and kept an active lifestyle during his soldiering time in the Army. “I’ve been in competitive sports all my life, and that continued when I enlisted in the Army. I joined my unit basketball, flag football and softball teams. Minor injuries have limited my participation, but I never lost my competitive, athletic drive. 9Round gives me the edge I need to stay active and remain fit and healthy. 9Round’s full body, 30-minute workouts with no class times and a trainer fill my urge to get back into a lead role in fitness and GET FIT, NEVER HIT!!!”

    Angela "Get Cho' Life" Jackson
Angela “Get Yo’ Life” Jackson is Co-Owner and Operator of 9Round Gambrills. She is a retired veteran who served over 22 years in the U.S. Army. Angela learned the benefits of maintaining a physical fitness regimen. Prior to that she had no interest in exercise. “I always made excuses as to why I couldn’t work out. Excuses like, “I’m not a morning person” or “I don’t have enough time in the day.” As I’ve gotten older I’ve come to the realization how important my overall health and fitness impacted the quality of my life. I was introduced to 9Round, and loved everything about it. From the Full body workouts in 30 minutes, to the No Class Times, and with a Trainer included. I look forward to helping you reach your fitness goals 9Rounds at a time.”
