ABOUT 9ROUND Greenville, SC - Pelham RD

We are a rocking gym in Greenville with a rewarding concept in fitness. It feels great to punch the heavy bags to the beat of the music as you work your way through our 9round circuit. Get in shape with "Old School" boxing techniques and training drills. You will also perform core body drills and build strength with various free weight exercises. Your motivation will stay high as you meet new challenges throughout the changing workouts everyday. Our 9round certified trainer will demonstrate all the correct moves and correct form. You do not need any boxing experience to join! Our gym vibe is community based, upbeat and supportive. This is a tremendous value and a great way to get yourself and your family active, healthy and fit!   

Strength: Stations 1-2

You'll use dumb bells, kettle bells, medicine balls, jump ropes and other equipment to build strength and stamina. Our trainers help you at every station.

Kickbox Fitness: Stations 3-8

The real fun begins as you punch and kick heavy bags to build power, double end bags to increase coordination and timing, and speed bags to develop shoulder conditioning and speed.

Abs & Core: Station 9

You’ll tighten and strengthen all the muscles in one of the most common trouble spots, your core, which improves your ability to perform any movement you do for work, exercise, or leisure.

  • As you work out, the device tracks how hard you’re working and displays your effort rating, your heart rate and calories burned on a monitor inside the 9Round club.

    Mills "The Machine " Stover
    Mills is one of the earliest pioneers in 9round gyms! He bought one of the first 9round franchises that opened on Augusta Road in Greenville, SC and is also co-owner of a 9round gym off of Pelham Rd in Greenville, SC. as well as two locations in Columbia, SC. Mills grew up primarily in Greenville, SC but also spent time living in Ft. Lauderdale, Charleston, Aspen, and Los Angeles. He graduated from College of Charleston and has over 20 years of experience in fitness and martial arts based training. However, before opening up a 9Round location, he worked on the production of over 40 different television shows and 5 feature films. When it comes to fitness Mills believes "If you train the same, you stay the same".

    Chris "The Crusher" Lawless
    Have you met Chris the 9Round manager of both the Augusta St and Pelham Rd locations? If so you will know right away he is passionate not only about fitness but your journey in becoming a stronger, healthier you. Chris had been a member since February of 2013. After working and managing NAPA for 15 years he left to come on board with 9Round. If he is not either working or working out in 9Round you could probably find him fishing with his wife of 22 years at a local lake or river.

    Daniel grew up in Greenville South Carolina and has been working at 9round for just over a year. When he's not being a personal trainer he spends his time working out, watching movies, and playing baseball. He is also the head coach for the junior varsity baseball team at Southside Christian. If you were to ask Daniel he would tell you that he "can out run a gazelle".

    Donald graduated from Southside High school in 2016. On his spare time he likes to play video games with his friends, work out, and spend time with his girlfriend and family.     I have a passion for getting others excited about fitness and pushing their bodies to the limit. One of my favorite things is to see people push themselves past what they think possible. I am finishing my B.S. in Exercise Science at Bob Jones University in the fall '16. I have enjoyed many sports from a young age. I did Combined Martial Arts for 3 years earning my brown belt and competing in several competitions. Participating in martial arts helped me to learn motivation and endurance vital for achieving personal fitness goals to this day. In my free time I train for races, enjoy being outside, and relax with friends.
