My wife talked me into joining 9 Rounds a couple of months ago. I've always been used to just going to the gym to lift weights and throw in some cardio if I had time. I appreciated the fact they offered the free workout so we could see if it's something we wanted to do. My wife and I both really liked it. We felt like all the trainers did a great job making us feel welcome. You definitely don't feel like everyone's watching you and everyone is at various experience levels so we never feel intimidated. The owner Bill has been great to work with and he's very personable. He truly seems to care that people are trying to become healthier and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The trainers are all very excellent. They're knowledgeable about all the exercises and make sure they're available for help at any time. I've really enjoyed 9 rounds since we joined. I won't sugar coat it...it's a tough workout and you'll burn calories. But it's over in 30 minutes and I feel great about myself once I'm done. I would definitely recommend anyone to try it out.
I am not a fan of traditional gyms. 9Round is a fast efficient workout and Bill and his team will always motivate you. I have had no problem shedding extra pounds. Give it try..you will be hooked!
9 round is the ideal gym choice for anyone with a busy lifestyle. The flexibility you get by not having specific class times is the best, get there when it works for you. So wether your stuck in traffic or running the kids to their activities it's much easier to drop in for 30 minutes. The quick changes in movements means you can can an awesome work out in a short time, on your scheduled. Perfect for busy parents or people that work. Coaching staff keep it fun, keep you motivated and help you get the most out of your time. Plus punching and kicking stuff is just fun anyway. Highly recommend!
9round has changed my mind about working out!!! The staff makes it so worth coming in and getting my butt handed to me!!!! This circuit gives me a completely different feeling than going to a traditional gym, running on the treadmill and lifting weights incorrectly. Everyone takes their time to ensure that I am properly executing the moves and they never let me cheat! Best accountability partners EVER!!!!

3 1/2 yrs of sitting at a desk job hadn't exactly helped my health & fitness. Over the Christmas/New Year holiday I joined 9 Round and its been awesome. I love the convenient 9R IL location. I love Bill's enthusiasm and encouragement. I love Kamaal's demand for proper technique. I love the fact that you can (assuming you put in a full effort) be in and out in 30 minutes and have a killer workout and still have time for your life. 3 1/2 months has taken off the 30 lbs I had put on sitting at the desk. But the hottest part of summer is still 3 months away and I could still lose another 30 lbs. My math tells me this could be my fittest summer in many years thanks to 9R.
9Round Indian Land has done an amazing thing in motivating me to get off the couch and start getting in shape. The level of activity varies from day to day so I never know what to expect, making the workout exciting and often times quite difficult. But even when they make me do crab-kicks, the staff don't let me slack off and encourage me to work the entire time, utilizing every last minute of the workout. I'm in better shape now than I have been in the last 20 years and I feel great, and i have Bill, Kamaal and the rest of the team at 9Round Indian Land to thank for it.
