  • I LOVE the 9Round workout!! It is everything I have ever wanted in one spot! Everyday it is a new workout, keeping me interested, and working out every muscle in my body. In just one week, I could tell that I had gained strength. I was worried that 30 minutes would not be long enough, but quickly learned that quality is more important than quantity. 9Round is effective and efficient. I no longer skip a workout due to the excuse of being late to a class, because there are no class times. The best part really is the trainers. Vickie and Ethan are enthusiastic and encouraging. They keep me focused on my fitness goals and drive me to not give up. They work with every fitness level; they really want the best for each of their clients. The nutrition program is an AWESOME bonus! I don't have to give up carbs!! And, I don't have to pay for a separate diet program - It's included in my membership fee, which is 1/4 of what I am paying now for fitness and nutrition!

    I guess I will go with John "Motor City Mauler" Ellison as a fighter name. John was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and has always been active. He wrestled in High School and right after graduation he joined the Army. He did a three year tour in Germany, and studied some jujitsu and judo. He likes to workout as hard as he will push anyone he is training. He has a wife Tracye and three daughter's one of which (Olivia) is also a trainer at 9round.

    I am a husband and father of four. I am a fitness enthusiast that enjoy just about anything fitness wise. One of my greatest passion is studying ancient civilizations. I love being a 9Round trainer because it allows me to build a bond and assist others achieve there physical fitness goals. My favorite round is round 1 because it uses two different forms of cardio to include jumping jacks and jump rope. My favorite 30 second still is the "Burpee" because it engages almost every muscle in the body fir a great full body workout....if done correctly. My favorite activity(s) other than 9Round is camping, hiking and reading. My favorite color is "Black" because black represents strength and mystery.
