Carla"Big Shot" and Ryan "Bones" White, pictured here with 9Round founder and CEO, Shannon "The Cannon" Hudson, are the owners of 9Round Middletown. B...oth Carla and Ryan are certified 9Round trainers and have been athletes playing on various sports teams throughout their lives. Carla is also a certified special education teacher. She combines her love for teaching, sports and exercise to help members reach their potential and crush their personal fitness goals. Ryan's passion for fitness comes from his time as a collegiate athlete. Ryan believes fitness should be fun and enjoys hyping members up, one round at a time. 9Round's convenient 30 minute, full body, always changing, trainer led workout is a blast! Nicole is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Certified in Reiki Level II, 9Round Certified Trainer and a Spin Instructor. This is what Nicole had t...o say "I have a passion for helping others on their fitness journey. Teaching them this journey is life long and to never let the bumps in the road end that journey." Nicole is married with a teenage son. In her free time she loves finding new adventures like hiking new trails and going on road trips. Mark is a Certified NASM Personal Trainer, 9Round Trainer, USA Boxing Coach, and Black Belt in Tang Soo Do. Mark is also a Retired Law Enforcement Off...icer and Served as a Technical Sargent in the US Air Force. Mark loves the 9Round concept, thinks its an effective, efficient, fun workout and loves to "push the tempo". Mark lives in the area with his two children!! More
I am a fitness enthusiast who is also knee deep in the medical field. I go to Central Connecticut State University for Athletic Training, am a certifi...ed EMT, and have observed multiple surgeries including two knee surgeries, and a few shoulder surgeries. I enjoy watching and playing sports of all kinds, especially football. My philosophy is, you will get out what you put in, so come in and work your butt off each and every workout. I thrive on the success of others and try to help transform all of my members to the best versions of themselves. More

Robins favorite round ...is 5, the Wrecking Ball and her favorite 30 second drill is "Air Guitar Squat". Robin is also a Biggest Loser Fit Pro and a 9Round Certified Trainer and is passionate about changing peoples lives. Matt "The Maniac" is our Saturday morning energetic and enthusiastic Pad - Man. Matt was a 9Round member before becoming a trainer. He loves pushing p...eople to be their best!! Matt is a black belt and loves to hike, bike, snowboard and do "just about anything crazy that you can almost hurt yourself." During the day Matt is an IT engineer at LEGO. Matt is married with 4 dogs and lives a stones throw away from the club!! More
9Round Certified Trainer Tracey "Fitzy" Fitzgerald has been with 9Round Middletown since opening Day February 6, 2014. She started as a member but lov...ed it so much she quickly became a trainer. She has a passion for fitness and overall wellness. She has always been active from playing high school soccer, to playing on a woman's softball league to running 5k's. Her favorite part of 9Round is pushing members to do "one more". Her love of helping others see their potential and challenging themselves to be better and stronger is always growing. Tracey has a Bachelors degree from Southern, is married with a son and two step daughters. More

I love 9ROUNDS because it works for me . I was a member and lost 20lbs and felt great . I felt like I was in the best shape I had ever been in my life . Then I had to have shoulder surgery and had to ... stop going , so of course I gained about 10lbs back and just felt like crap . No energy and just lazy ! Then I decided I needed to start back at 9ROUNDS, I’ve been back 4 months and feel absolutely amazing again. I’m down 8lbs and I’m toning up again and just feel great .
