About the team
Matthew has owned and operated 9Round in Louisville for almost 4 years now. He began with just one location in St. Matthews with a clear goal in mind;... to take over the entire Louisville market... and he has done just that. Born and raised in Louisville, Matthew has a clear passion for this city and the people in it. He is extremely passionate about the members in his gyms, and just getting to know people, in general. Chances are, if you've met Matthew one time, he'll remember you by name! Matthew has a pretty extensive background in mixed martial arts, including kickboxing. Over 4 years of Tae Kown Do, judo, kickboxing and boxing experience, as well as extensive experience in the fitness industry, has given Matthew the knowledge and passion he needed to operate a gym like 9Round. If he's not training members in his gyms, chances are that Matthew's working from home with a cup of coffee, running errands, hiking some trails, or eating massive amounts of food somewhere (his other passion)! Brandon is a native Louisvillian with a passion for sports since a very young age. Brandon holds a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science from Western Ke...ntucky University, has over 75 hours of psychology education and experience, and is certified in Personal Training by ACSM with 3 years of experience. In the near future, he plans to receive a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky. Brandon joined the 9Round team in August 2016 and was immediately captivated by the environment and the people that come in to knock out a workout. His energy and attitude translate very well into his passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals. Known to be the "hype man" and the "proper form police", he will always be nearby to motivate and help you maximize your workout so that you achieve your desired results. More
Scott Bridenbaugh is a student at Elizabethtown Community Technical College, where he is currently earning his Associates degree in Pre-Med, as well a...s an active member of the Kentucky National Guard. He resides in his hometown of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, but loves coming up to Louisville to enjoy all of the food and festivities it has to offer, and plans on continuing his education at the University of Louisville at some point. Scott has been so grateful to be able to work for 9Round, as it's offered him the opportunity to meet and foster relationships with all of the wonderful members that walk in every day! More

Great workouts and I love that they change everyday. Love that you get a full body strength workout while at the same time target cardio and endurance. Great trainers and all are responsive to help ... get the most out of the workouts possible. Like that I have made new friends while there - better than going to a "regular" gym where I just put in time and there's no social component. Also, we all can then motivate each other.
