  • I really cannot say enough good things about 9Round in the Pearl. This is, hands down, one of the best workout programs I've ever done. I tend to get bored very quickly, but not here. The workouts are different each day and each 'round' is always challenging, but don't be intimidated! The trainers are rad and wonderfully supportive. If you want to get yourself into better shape, get your butt in here. It works!

  • Awesome place. You can go at your own pace and everyone is super supportive. I'm easily discouraged when I work out because I feel silly but everyone here cheers each other on. Get in, get out. I love this place.

  • The trainers here are why I come, because they are awesome. They are always positive and energetic and make me enjoy working out! This is a very small gym, but I always break a sweat following the routine. However, due to the limited open hours I can't make it in as much as I would like, or as much as it would take to see results.

    I have been an exercise enthusiast for most of my life, dancing as a youth and enjoying all sorts of activities as an adult. I love running and have completed three marathons, as well as other team, relay and obstacle runs. I love the benefits that come from regular, intense exercise, and I LOVE the 9Round workout! I enjoy working in such a positive environment, where I am able each day, in a small way, to help others be the best they can be as they push themselves to reach their goals.     Steve "Bulldog" Terreault
    Steve is owner/operator of 9Round PDX Fitness, encompassing four 9R clubs in the Portland metropolitan area. He is a life-long exercise enthusiast with practical training and is a certified 9Round coach. Steve has studied physical fitness sciences and nutrition at Clark College's FITNESS TRAINER academic program in Vancouver, WA. Steve is a graduate of San Diego State University. He sold his property management business and embraced his passion to help people achieve their physical fitness goals "9 Rounds at a time." Steve's volunteer work includes serving on USAgencies Credit Union’s BOD as 1st Vice Chair. He has also volunteered on the Portland Police Bureau's oral board for police officer recruits.
