ABOUT 9ROUND San Diego, CA - Friars Rd.

9Round San Diego-Friars Road is located in the Mission Valley area of San Diego right next to Fashion Valley Mall and the University of San Diego (USD). 9Round offers a 30-minute, total body, kickboxing circuit workout. Our circuit workout format means NO CLASS TIMES so you can show up and start your workout whenever works best for you! The workout CHANGES DAILY to ensure a fun and exciting workout every time and there is a 9Round FITNESS TRAINER with you every workout to teach and motivate you! The first workout is FREE so get into the gym and try it!

Strength: Stations 1-2

You'll use dumb bells, kettle bells, medicine balls, jump ropes and other equipment to build strength and stamina. Our trainers help you at every station.

Kickbox Fitness: Stations 3-8

The real fun begins as you punch and kick heavy bags to build power, double end bags to increase coordination and timing, and speed bags to develop shoulder conditioning and speed.

Abs & Core: Station 9

You’ll tighten and strengthen all the muscles in one of the most common trouble spots, your core, which improves your ability to perform any movement you do for work, exercise, or leisure.

All of the trainers are great they make sure you know exactly what workout you will be doing and they will help you on your form to ensure you get the best workout as possible without injury.     A native of Chicago, Dwayne was previously a trainer at 9Round Columbia, Missouri, and is a recent transplant to San Diego. He is extremely passionate about promoting fitness and a healthy lifestyle. In addition to a being a 9Round Trainer he's an avid runner, weight lifter, and rugby player. He loves working our members with the hand pads and looks forward to getting you in shape!
