ABOUT 9ROUND San Diego, CA - Rancho Bernardo

A 9Round fitness routine is geared toward EVERYONE. All of your workouts are supervised and Include certified 9Round trainers that are there to motivate you and to ensure that you perform your fitness routine effectively and properly. There is no need to be afraid if you do not have any kickboxing experience.  Our trainers can walk you through each move and adjust your workout to your fitness level. At 9Round there are No Class Times! Our workouts are done in a circuit training format. There are nine challenging stations, and each station lasts for three minutes. This means that a new workout starts every three minutes, and you can get a full body workout that is guaranteed to give you results in Only 30 Minutes, which can easily fit into our hectic schedules.  Ask about our 9Round Nutrition which is included with your membership!

Strength: Stations 1-2

You'll use dumb bells, kettle bells, medicine balls, jump ropes and other equipment to build strength and stamina. Our trainers help you at every station.

Kickbox Fitness: Stations 3-8

The real fun begins as you punch and kick heavy bags to build power, double end bags to increase coordination and timing, and speed bags to develop shoulder conditioning and speed.

Abs & Core: Station 9

You’ll tighten and strengthen all the muscles in one of the most common trouble spots, your core, which improves your ability to perform any movement you do for work, exercise, or leisure.

    Kristin "Wild Child" Clover
    Kristin "Wild Child" Clover is originally from Southern Illinois. She relocated to South Florida where she decided to become a fitness trainer. She then moved from South Florida to San Diego to follow her dream of making a career out of personal training and teaching fitness classes. Kristin taught at two 9Round locations in South Florida and absolutely loved and believed in the concept and made it her goal to open a 9Round in San Diego. Her mission is to educate people about exercise and nutrition and to help them maintain a healthy lifestyle. Her goal is to empower and inspire people to make the most of their abilities through knowledge, direction, and encouragement. She invites members to take an active interest in accomplishing their goals and welcomes their input and feedback throughout the entire training process. Whether you’re already a hardcore athlete or a novice to the exercise world, she can help you reach your ideal performance, fitness and aesthetic goals. Kristin is Certified in the following: ACE Personal Trainer, TRX Trainer, Cardio Kickboxing Trainer and Nutrition Coach. After your first class with Kristin it will be very clear how dedicated she is to her craft. She is relentless and pushes everyone in her classes so they feel like they were not only challenged but also so you can feel – and eventually, with dedication – SEE the results of your hard work.     Sebastian "Sebass" Moua
    Trainer Sebastian was raised in San Diego. He has been an athlete his whole life which includes participating in football and track during high school. Sebastian is known for his upbeat positive attitude and his passion for sports, fitness, and health. This is what led him to become a well rounded trainer. Sebastian is a certified Fitness Specialist, has coached High School Football also currently working as personal trainer. Other experiences are crossfit, obstacle course races, strength and conditioning training, functional training, sports nutrition, and Mix Martial Arts.

    Nicole ""The Energizer Bunny"" Johnson
    Nicole Johnson, is a Kickboxing, Yoga Fit and Certified Massage Therapist Instructor CMT: Nicole was first licensed as a massage therapist in 2007 graduating from High Tech Institute. During her education, she focused on a few key areas including health, nutrition, holistic healing, and education. Her education and passion gave her the desire to teach others how to live healthy lifestyles through fitness and nutrition. Passionate about yoga, she became a certified instructor through YogaFit in 2007. She found that opportunity at Bryan College in Sacramento where she taught from 2009-2010 before taking a hiatus for the birth of her two children. She now teaches and is active in continuing education for Kickboxing, Massage Therapy and Yoga in various locations throughout the country and brings her passion and fun enthusiasm for holistic wellness to each session and individual she comes across!     Benny Rojas
    Benny was born and raised in Southern California. He attended Fallbrook High and graduated in 2011. Benny has participated in athletic sports all his life which has included soccer, football, and rugby. His High School Rugby team won Finals in 2011! He went to Utah Nationals and ranked 5th in the nation. Benny is very passionate about staying fit with high intensity training as he also trains as an amateur boxer. Benny started boxing in 2011 and has been involved with boxing and competing since then. He has trained with not only other amateur fighters, but also with professional fighters. Benny loves the concept of the sport of boxing and the discipline that comes with it. He continues to train boxing and is a certified kickboxing instructor. He also continues to play and coach youth soccer and adult soccer teams.

    Jaelyn Lozano
    Jaelyn attended Poway high school and graduated in 2015. She has always been very involved in sports! A student athlete all four years of high school. She played field hockey for a year and soccer all four years of her high school career. Jaelyn will be a Junior this fall at California State University San Marcos pursing a degree in Communications and a minor in History. She is the President of CSUSM Women's Soccer Club and loves the idea of being involved while keeping an active lifestyle. Jaelyn loves motivating, inspiring, and dedicating her to time to help others achieve their goals!

    Grant "The Riot" Shields
    Originally hailing from Florida, Grant moved out to San Diego in early 2012 and began involving himself in the martial arts lifestyle. Coming first from a striking background, he learned the art of Muay Thai and then later involved himself in MMA and Jiu-Jitsu. As a Flyweight/Bantamweight fighter he has competed Muay Thai, MMA and Jiu-Jitsu and continues to be an active competitor. With his can do attitude and tough-as-nails mentality his next goal is to win double gold at his next tournament!
