  • The variation. I’ve been going for 5 months now and am amazed that the workout never repeats. I’m still doing things for the first time. I’m busy and life can get in the way of working out but not with 9 Round you’re in and out in 30 min. It works with any schedule. I love the trainers I work with. For someone who really didn’t work out before they have all been so wonderful, supportive and ready to challenge me at the same time.

  • really push and hold members accountable for getting a good workout. Also sometimes the activities at each of the stations seem random and don't flow with the rest of the workout or are hard to get going on (in order to get heart rate up). All in all, more difficulty would be great

  • Fast paced, and everyone who goes in are there for only one thing, to work out. Normal gyms are intimidating and gives off the impression only “fit” people belong. I feel no judgement at 9Round, only encouragement.

  • First and foremost, the trainers at 9Round Rancho Bernardo are incredible. They keep me motivated, and make me feel like I'm part of the 9Round family. On top of the great people, the 9Round format is hands down the best workout format I've ever experienced. It is fun, engaging, taxing, tiring, motivational, exhausting, fulfilling, entertaining, and stress relieving. It gives you the benefit of a structured class, without having to worry about scheduling a class time into your busy calendar. Show up whenever you want, jump in there and let your hands and feet start flying!

    Angie Bader
    Asst. Manager Graduated form SDSU in 2010 with a BA in Kinesiology Speciality in Physical Education Coached Track and Field for 6 years Also worked with children at JW Tumbles I am 5'7, 155 lbs (just about high school weight), workout 5 to 6 times a week at 9Round and love to run. My daughter is a future 9Round trainer in the making and my husband is the clean up crew

    Benny Rojas
    Benny was born and raised in Southern California. He attended Fallbrook High and graduated in 2011. Benny has participated in athletic sports all his life which has included soccer, football, and rugby. His High School Rugby team won Finals in 2011! He went to Utah Nationals and ranked 5th in the nation. Benny is very passionate about staying fit with high intensity training as he also trains as an amateur boxer. Benny started boxing in 2011 and has been involved with boxing and competing since then. He has trained with not only other amateur fighters, but also with professional fighters. Benny loves the concept of the sport of boxing and the discipline that comes with it. He continues to train boxing and is a certified kickboxing instructor. He also continues to play and coach youth soccer and adult soccer teams.

    Jaelyn Lozano
    Jaelyn attended Poway high school and graduated in 2015. She has always been very involved in sports! A student athlete all four years of high school. She played field hockey for a year and soccer all four years of her high school career. Jaelyn will be a Junior this fall at California State University San Marcos pursing a degree in Communications and a minor in History. She is the President of CSUSM Women's Soccer Club and loves the idea of being involved while keeping an active lifestyle. Jaelyn loves motivating, inspiring, and dedicating her to time to help others achieve their goals!

    Sheilla "Shella" Shipman
    Sheilla “Shella” Shipman, after almost 20 years in the corporate world finally took the advise of a friend to “Do what you love” Varsity lettered in 3 sports in high school and played briefly at the College level. Sheilla learned martial arts technique through her husband who is a black belt in Kyoku Shinkai before discovering kickboxing fitness as an assistant/demonstrator...she was hooked! A familiar face at 9Round RB since 2016 she gladly accepted a trainer position and loving every minute of it!
