How It Works
- You wear your 9ROUND PULSE™ belt during your workout.
- As you work out, the device tracks how hard you’re working and displays your effort rating, your heart rate and calories burned on a monitor inside the 9Round club.
- You can easily see if you’re in your optimal fat burning zone and adjust your effort up or down as needed.
- View your results and progress any time from the app or your online account. Your results are also emailed to you after each workout.

Archie "Balong" LumangMy name is Archie but most people call me Balong. I am from the Philippines where I studied nursing. I am currently a graduate student at Gardner Webb University. I love playing sports, especially basketball. When I’m not at work, I’m studying, camping, hiking, fishing, running or watching sports. I began working out at 9Round earlier this year and felt like it was a perfect fit for me. I am looking forward to helping members with their fitness goals, 9Rounds at a time.
Jovetta "Wicked" WalterJovetta is a long time runner, enjoying races from 5ks to marathons. Originally from Michigan, Jovetta graduated from University of South Carolina with a degree in special education. Working as a part time teacher, Jovetta was seeking a diverse way to spend her mornings. She was excited to join the 9Round team and be able to share her passion for fitness and healthy living through her skills of education. Jovetta is excited to help her members achieve their goals!!
Crystal HarrisCrystal is a health food, and fitness junkie. Her goal is eventually own her own gym. She loves the reward she feels from helping others achieve their goals. She is ready to dedicate her knowledge and killer workouts to all the members. Do you 9round? Cause Crystal does!!
Tyler SprowlsTyler has greatly understood the value of health and fitness since he was a child. His parents (one being a personal trainer) always encouraged a healthy lifestyle for the family. As a child, Tyler had serious health issues. He spent time with doctors and nutritionists and learned from a young age how to be health conscious and overcame his illnesses. Tyler knows the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and to not take it for granted. He loves to encourage and educate others so they can do the same.
Katie CogginsKatie is a fighter, coach, trainer, and a student! She’s practiced the art of eight limbs, Muay Thai, for several years- but her passion for kickboxing all began at 9Round! She decided to become a trainer because of her passion for fitness, and there’s nothing she loves to see more than someone reaching their goal. Come in for a kickin’ good workout with Katie, you won’t be disappointed!

Best workout and trainers ever!!
I've have been a 9Round member for almost a year and a half now. I have tried lots of gyms and workouts over the years and nothing beats 9Round! I've lost two inches off my waist and leaned out. As I turn 50 I am in the best shape of my life. This workout truly delivers results if you stay commited to it.
I really enjoy coming to 9Round. It's a fun way to spend 30 minutes working out. I have never had the same workout since joining. The trainers really help motivate you and challenge you to be your best. These workouts have strenghtened me and helped tone my body. I love it!!!
9Round has changed my life. The weight; I've lost about 20 lbs, but fat has shifted to muscle growth and toning. I have more energy and I'm in a better mood daily. I've been involved with two of the gyms for about two years now. I owe the trainers and the gyms a huge thank you and will always be grateful.
I joined 9 round a little over a year ago to change up my workout routine. I love the fact that it is a full body workout in just 30 minutes with no specific times. The energy is great and they offer a friendly atmosphere.
I have been a member of 9 round for over a year now and have never left feeling like I didn't get a great workout. After spending time in the military and in law enforcement for many years, this by far is the best training circuit I have been involved in. Now when I have to miss, I truly feel guilty. This is great for all ages.
