9Round Fitness is a kickbox circuit gym that utilizes boxing and kickboxing fitness programs to incorporate functional, interval, cardiovascular, resistance and circuit training regimens. The 9Round experience includes a fun, energized, fast-paced, environment providing a unique fitness experience that yields unprecedented results for all levels with a personal trainer onsite every time! Our certified 9Round trainers provide the exceptional personal attention, energy and enthusiasm to help members reach their fitness and weight loss goals. Our customized nutrition plans are included with each membership designed by our very own nutrition coach. Our specialized system is packaged to develop and build lean, toned, strong muscle. No previous boxing or martial arts training is needed. Our workout caters to various levels of fitness and exercise and grows with you as you progress!     John "JT" Thomas
    JT is the Lead Trainer/ Store Manager at 9Round Springfield. He has been a 9Round Certified Trainer going on 2 years. He has years of experience in combat sports training and martial arts to include Taekwondo, MMA, Boxing, and Kickboxing. Growing up and throughout the years he has also trained and competed in swimming, football, basketball (as well as coach), and baseball. His favorite activities include Strength & Conditioning, and Powerlifting. JTs extensive knowledge of customer service, skillset in contact sports, and his love for fitness is guaranteed to take your game to the next level. His training style is technical, very athletic & high paced, focusing on power & technique. He is constantly pushing himself & his clients to higher boundaries and loves seeing the results. If you make the commitment to get to the gym, he will make sure you leave in a sweat. “If I haven’t used my mop by Round 9, I haven’t done my job.”-JT

    Robert "The Razor" Wolfe
    Robert "The Razor" Wolfe. Rob is well versed in Strength Training, Conditioning and Physical fitness. He began wrestling in high school and later discovered Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and has been competing for the past 2 years. Rob is currently 3-2-0 and is planning on taking the big leap into professional Mixed Martial Arts in the future. Rob is excited about personal training and he looking forward to working with you on your fitness goals and general self defense techniques.

    Mamode "The Dark Knight" Ufomata
    Mamode "The Dark Knight" Ufomata is a certified 9Round Trainer and he is a big believer in sports and fitness. Mamode grew up playing several sports including Football, Basketball and Soccer. He has a passion for working with clients to reach their fitness goals and he enjoys leading a challenging, fun and fast paced environment at the gym. "My emphasis is to bring a scientific approach to weight loss and fitness. By incorporating the MyZone heart rate monitor to our workouts, we will be able to measure and target each clients workouts to their fitness goals."

  • Hardest workout you will ever love! Wasn't sure if I would be able to do this intense workout but so glad I gave it a try. Works muscles I never knew I had. I have a horrible travel schedule so just barely able to get 3 visits in a week. But those 3 have helped me lose 8 pounds in just 2.5 weeks. The weight loss is just an added benefit to all the energy I have gained. J.T knows just how far to push you and keeps you motivated and moving - he is fantastic! Love this place!!
