What is 9Round?

9Round is a specialized fitness center for people who want an unique, fun, and proven workout that guarantees results. 9Round offers a kickboxing themed fitness program that incorporates a functional, interval, cardiovascular, and circuit training regimens. The programs consist of a proprietary system of nine challenging workout stations developed by a World Champion Kickboxer.


9Round works because it includes everything you need: a full-body workout that’s fast, effective and fun… personal trainers to help you… and expert nutritional guidance. And it’s all based on the latest exercise and nutritional science.

9Round is a specialized fitness center dedicated to serving clients who want a unique, fun, and proven workout that guarantees results.  9Round offers traditional "old school" boxing and kickboxing fitness programs that incorporate functional, interval, cardiovascular, and circuit training regimens.  Our 9Round certified trainers provide exceptional personal attention, energy and motivation to help members reach their fitness and weight loss goals. Customized nutrition plans are included with each membership designed by our very own nutrition coach at No Extra Cost. Our specialized system is packaged to develop and build strong, lean and toned muscle. No previous boxing or martial arts training is needed. Our workout caters to various levels of fitness and exercise and grows with you as you progress! Come experience this motivational, 30 minute, full body workout that changes every day. 

Strength: Stations 1-2

You'll use dumb bells, kettle bells, medicine balls, jump ropes and other equipment to build strength and stamina. Our trainers help you at every station.

Kickbox Fitness: Stations 3-8

The real fun begins as you punch and kick heavy bags to build power, double end bags to increase coordination and timing, and speed bags to develop shoulder conditioning and speed.

Abs & Core: Station 9

You’ll tighten and strengthen all the muscles in one of the most common trouble spots, your core, which improves your ability to perform any movement you do for work, exercise, or leisure.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Show up at your convenience; there are no class times
  • You’re welcomed by a friendly, qualified trainer
  • Trainer wraps your hands for support when punching
  • Use heart rate training to stay in your target fat burning zone
  • Trainer shows you how to do each exercise based on your fitness level
  • Every three minutes, you move to the next exercise station

How It Works

  • You wear your 9ROUND PULSE belt during your workout.
  • As you work out, the device tracks how hard you’re working and displays your effort rating, your heart rate and calories burned on a monitor inside the 9Round club.
  • You can easily see if you’re in your optimal fat burning zone and adjust your effort up or down as needed.
  • View your results and progress any time from the app or your online account. Your results are also emailed to you after each workout.

Her passion for fitness comes from having a health scare in 2006 in which she decided to make a lifestyle change. She started FIT-4-LIFE PT by Wanda, Inc. in 2006 and has spent the last 7 years helping people meet their fitness goals! She holds an MBA in Marketing and a BA in Business.     October 31, 2006, a girlfriend of mine asked me to be her workout buddy since we'd eaten all of this candy due to not having any trick or treaters :-( Now...I hadn't worked out nor performed any high intensity physical activity since my 12th grade year(1988). We attended a group class and worked with free weights afterwards and low and behold...I was hooked! I joined that same gym and working out became a three to four day lifestyle for me. I attended high intensity group workouts of kickboxing, boxing, weight training,cardio, and abs. My individual one on one workouts involved free weights and dumb bells. Soon after, I became interested in 5k Runs. I have completed multiple runs for awesome causes including Susan G. Komen, 911 5K, and The Military Rebel Mud Obstacle Race! I also competed in relays involving agility and track. A little over a year ago, I began to check out the 30 minute high intensity total body workouts including 9Round. I have received better results physically and mentally than any other workout. Less time was taken up...I was tired after a workout but felt good. My body didn't go into fatigue mode where normally it would be hard to do my job as a hairstylist...standing on my feet 8 hours straight. I loved my 30 minute workouts so much, I decided to take it to the next level. Today I am a proud certified trainer for 9Round 30 Minute Kickbox Fitness!

I can not make this up. It started with a free workout that lead me signing right up. My experience has been amazing. HoneyBee & Wanda Brisco has been my motivation and drive to keep pushing forward. It's been times I wanted to give up on myself, but thinking about all the love, support and encouraging words I get from these ladies is truly amazing.
