Riza is the Owner and Trainer at the gym! She is a mother of three, an entrepreneur and is now bringing 9Round to Fountain Valley/Huntington Beach/Cos...ta Mesa area in sunny SoCal! She has been a group fitness instructor for over 14 years and is excited to build a community of like-minded, health conscious people in her area! She is originally from Pensacola, Florida, however she lived in New Orleans for over 10 years. She moved out west after Hurricane Katrina devasted her home and community there and has rebuilt her life here in Orange County. She is married to Jeff Lovin and mom to Ethan (17), Cameron (14) and Layla (8).

I am a son, a father, and a life coach committed to creating generational wellness. Originally from Michigan, I moved here as a child to live with my ...uncle, who was a Marine. Struggling with severe asthma, I was unable to run and play like most children. Dr's said that I would always be sick. However, my uncle said, " You just need to get stronger," thus began my healthy and active lifestyle. Within months of training, I went from a sickly child to a healthy athlete. I went on to run track in high school and college, competing the 100m, 200m, and long jump. Attending Golden West College, I placed 8th in the state of California in the 100m and 4th in Javelin. Afterward, I went on to become a certified trainer specializing in strength, conditioning, and weight loss. Now, with over 10 years teaching kickboxing and 13 years as a health and wellness coach. I am committed to supporting families in living their best life. My hubbies include running, hiking, lifting weights, camping, cooking, and dodgeball.

I have been in sports my whole life! Started with soccer where I was on traveling teams and track where I was part of the Santa Monica Pegasus running... club running 100 yard dash, long jump, high jump and 4x100 all the way through high school then in high school went to volleyball, and football! I also have a background in martial arts. Started boxing at 16 then went to kickboxing/muey thai, training and aikido when I was in college. After that coached kids in basketball and football, then went into personal training where I have my certificate AAAI/ISMA and have been training group, personal, and kickboxing for over 20 years now with bally's la fitness, crunch, 9round and Maywesther. My mission is to make sure everyone has the best experience and the most fun possible so they never want to stop working out!

His physical travails began with, what came to be of most significance and attributed to his sportsmanship, tee ball. Along with tee ball, he partook in football, soccer, basketball, tennis, golf and cross country running. Joshua has since then continued to build accolades within the fitness world. With over 5 years in the training profession-from adolescent youth to semi professional athletes, over 4 Spartan races-including the Beast, and countless hours spent in the gym. I basically grew up with fitness and 9Round. I’ve always been around active people or doing active things so it’s no surprise I became a trainer here.... I’m a senior at CMHS and I enjoy playing volleyball and music. I am also a 3rd generation scuba diver and love the ocean! Working at 9R has been a tough but exciting ride and I can’t wait to work more here as time goes on!

Erik is from HB and has been doing martial arts and has been into fitness ever since the age of 8. By age 13 he was doing Ju Jitsu and kickboxing and ...then at 28- he quit his job and wanted to focus on training. He spent a year in Big Bear mountain to study to accomplish this goal.
Fast forward to February 2020- he got into a bad car accident on Beach Blvd and lost his eye, shattered his face, broke his hips, shattered his hands and was in a comma for 3 weeks. Miraculously- he got himself back up to walking almost immediately. By August- he was back in the gym. The doctor never cleared him to workout or even walk again and they said he was blind in the right eye and probably could never do anything he used to do again. But Erik proved them wrong!
