🥊 October Challenge: Heart of a Fighter at 9Round Irvine Center

October is here, and it’s time to bring out your inner strength — the kind that doesn’t quit when things get tough. At 9Round Irvine Center, our October Pulse Challenge is all about proving the Heart of a Fighter.

From October 2nd through October 31st, members will track their workouts with 9Round Pulse and earn points in every heart rate zone. But just like in the ring, not every punch carries the same weight — some zones count more toward your success.

🎯 The Challenge Breakdown

Here’s how the scoring works:

🔵 Blue Zone – Light effort, warm-up & recovery = 1️⃣ Point
🟢 Green Zone – The fat-burning, steady-state sweet spot = 2️⃣ Points
🟡 Yellow Zone – Peak performance: stamina, speed, and power = 3️⃣ Points
🔴 Red Zone – All-out bursts, best in moderation = 1️⃣ Point

Green + Yellow = Maximum points
Consistency & recovery matter
Every round builds the fighter inside you

💡 Why Heart of a Fighter?

October is Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month, making it the perfect time to spotlight what matters most: your heart. Training in the optimal zones helps you build endurance, sharpen performance, and protect long-term heart health.

But this challenge goes deeper than the physical. The Heart of a Fighter means resilience, grit, and showing up even on the tough days. It’s about proving to yourself that you’ve got more in the tank than you think.
