At 9Round Irvine Center, we’re celebrating World Heart Day (September 29th) with a special month-long Pulse Challenge: Boxing for Heart Health.

This challenge isn’t just about training harder — it’s about training smarter, protecting your heart, and building endurance that lasts inside and outside the gym.


🎯 The Mission: Stronger Rounds. Stronger Hearts.

With your 9Round Pulse monitor, you’ll track your heart rate across all four training zones. But just like in boxing, not every punch carries the same weight. Some zones will score higher because they’re the key to long-term health and peak performance.

Here’s how it breaks down:

🟦 Blue Zone — Light effort: warm-up & recovery. 1️⃣ Point
🟩 Green Zone — Optimal fat-burning & endurance. 2️⃣ Points
🟨 Yellow Zone — Peak performance: stamina, speed & power. 3️⃣ Points
🟥 Red Zone — Max intensity: best in short bursts. 1️⃣ Point

✅ Green + Yellow = Maximum points.
✅ Consistency and recovery count.

📅 Challenge Timeline

The Boxing for Heart Health Pulse Challenge runs September 1st–30th, with the final push coming right after World Heart Day on September 29th.
