I wanted to wait and write this review until after my wedding in September (one of the reasons I've been coming), because I know it will be even better in a couple months. I joined 9round in March, bu... t had a lot going on those first two months (traveling), so I wasn't consistent with my workouts. Since May, (Now end of July), I have been going anywhere from 3-5 days a week. I just got my "50th check in" last week, so that give you an idea on time. I've lost almost 10 lbs, but most importantly, I've lost 2 dress sizes. I wish I would have done full body measurements, but I only did my waist and I'm down almost 3 inches. I bought my wedding dress two sizes too small on purpose to help get my butt in shape, and just had my fitting the day after my 50th check in and it zipped up no problem! I COULD NOT zip it two months ago. The alterations lady is holding off on hemming the bottom as she said she doesn't want to do it twice since I'm still continuing to loose. She even has a plan if the dress is a bit big by the end of August. The other reason I joined 9round is because I wanted to stay consistent with my marital arts training. I'm a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and ex-instructor. It's extremely hard for me to make regular classes as my schedule for work is all over the place (thus, the weight gain this past year.) This is why I LOVE 9Round- NO SET CLASS TIMES. It is so much easier for me to fit a workout during the day when I don't have to be there at a particular start time. I can show up, kick bags, punch pads, keep my technique up and get myself back to where I was physically (which was really, really in shape). It's what I already love doing in a workout with the added bonus of awesome staff and great music.
