Owner/ Operator With over 23 Years in the fitness industry, Weight loss survivor over 150lbs, NASM Certified, MMA Conditioning Specialist, Woman's... Fitness Specialist, Corrective exercise specialist, over 20 years of martial arts training. I have been helping people reach there fitness goals for over 20 years and I hope to get the chance to help you to! More
Sarah is the 9Round Lake Merritt Manager and has been with 9Round for 3 years. She has been on her own fitness journey for the last 10 years and is a ...NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Turbokick cardio kickboxing certified. She enjoys combining kickboxing, running Lake Merritt, HIIT Training, and weight lifting for her own fitness routine. Her favorite aspect of working at 9round is the community and getting to know clients one on one. When she isn’t at the gym, she enjoys sunny walks around Oakland, volunteering providing homeless outreach and healthcare access services, and trying new restaurants. More
Elise is a 9Round trainer who has recently began her career in the fitness industry. As a former D1 soccer athlete and having played several different... sports growing up, she has a passion for working out. Elise has been on her own fitness journey for years and wants to share her love for exercise with others, motivating them to reach their goals, both mental and physical, through exercise. She has coached, done private lessons, personal training, and has experience as an athlete performance focused group trainer from a different gym and is excited to begin her journey with 9Round. Her favorite aspect of working at 9Round is getting to know clients and their reasons for exercising. She enjoys the community at 9Round and that the workouts are fun. Elise is in the process of getting her NASM Personal Training Certification. She loves to stay active by playing soccer, going for hikes, swimming, playing basketball, going for runs, etc… as well as traveling and spending time with loved ones. More
Ariana is a 9Round trainer that recently began her career as both a mental and physical skills coach in the Bay Area. Ariana, a former basketball and ...track athlete, has experience in training various sports teams throughout the East and West Coast. She is currently wrapping up her pursuit for her Masters in Sport Psychology at John F. Kennedy University. She is passionate about helping others enhance their performance and reach their fitness goals. Ariana is in pursuit of obtaining her certification as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) that ensures she has met a combination of educational and work requirements. Her goal is to enhance her ability to successfully integrate training from a mental and physical perspective. Ariana enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling back home to the east coast and around other parts of the world as well as cooking and listening to her favorite tunes. More
Michael has recently started his career in fitness. Michael has 10+ years of training experience with MMA, boxing, kickboxing, muay thai and other mar...tial arts. He is an amateur MMA fighter and one of his goals is to have a professional bout in the future. Michael has first responder training and is First Aid and AED certified. He is currently in pursuit of obtaining his NASM Personal Training certification and hopes to become an MMA gym owner in the future. Michael enjoys music, traveling, spending time with his loved ones and is a huge foodie on his cheat days. His favorite part of being a 9Round trainer is that he gets to share his knowledge and his love for the kickboxing sport with others. More

9 Round Lake Merritt is totally awesome! Just when I want to give up on myself I am motivated and reminded why I am there, that I am strong, and I CAN do it. I CAN change my life. Mark and his team ... are fabulous. I work closest with Mark, Elias, and Lauren and they are amazing. They push me where they see I can go, even if I can't see it.
