About the team
Tariq “Rampage” Johnson is originally from College Park, Maryland and is a former collegiate basketball player at the University of Wyoming, where he ...studied psychology. After his first year, Tariq accomplished maintaining a 4.0 GPA as well as being on the Mountain West All-Academic Team. After his playing career, Tariq became an Undergraduate Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Men’s Basketball Team at the University and also got certified as a Nutrition Coach. His main hobbies include, working out, hiking, traveling, and trying new things. Tariq is excited to be apart of this team and build great relationships with all members, as well as being able to work together with trainers and help everyone achieve their desired fitness goals! Melissa Mel Grande
Okay, so not exactly "Grande" is stature; being a former gymnastics flyer for the K-State Wildcats. She says it's due to her weakness for some Taco B...el Grande meals, but we all know it's because she has a "Grande" heart! As a K-State graduate in Kinesiology and mother of two energetic boys, Melissa has a deep passion for helping everyone during their fitness journey - no matter if they are just getting started or are at an advanced level and looking for a greater challenge! Pint Sized Powerhouse
Savanna “The Pint Sized Powerhouse” Moe is small but mighty, adventurous and warmhearted. With a passion for helping my community, I graduated from CS...U with a Criminal Justice degree and have been coaching gymnastics for 5 years. Being a gymnast I have learned how to push and challenge myself, and through coaching I have grown inspired to motivate others on their health and fitness journey. I am very patient and supportive, and my number one priority will be to help the 9Round members have so much fun, they forget their even working out! Challenging yourself physically will transfer to other aspects of your life which will help you achieve the best version of yourself! If it doesn't challenge you it doesn't change you! More
Tim The Steel Viking
Tim “The Viking” Vettel has a deep passion for training at 9Round. He’s a fun loving, family man with an excitable personality that makes working out... seem like a time warp. As former collegiate level football player, he knows how to turn up the intensity. With a no pain-no gain attitude, Tim challenges your mind and body while leaving you with a sense of accomplishment that keeps you focused on your goals. Tim is a graduate of the Master Kickboxing Trainer camp and has also completed training under the legendary boxing trainer Xavier "Bad-pads" Biggs. Join Tim in your fitness journey and let him show you that fitness can be fun! More
Dylan “The Darkhorse” Olson is a life-long student of the martial arts. He has studied various fighting styles and warrior traditions from around the ...world. Dylan has also enjoyed the sport version of martial arts and has competed in boxing, kickboxing, submission grappling, and MMA fights. He has a Health and Physical education degree from Utah State University and is a certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise. As a strength and conditioning coach and trainer for professional fighters, Dylan has successfully used the “fighter fitness” training style, as incorporated in the 9Round workouts to help condition the athletes he has worked with. He is excited to be part of 9Round and help others gain the amazing benefits of a kickboxing workout. More
Lucia “Jabuar” Houlton found a love for kickboxing after spending years trying out different sports. She loves staying active and social which made ki...ckboxing a perfect fit for her. Lucia is planning on attending CSU in the next few years but for now is enjoying her time in high school with friends and family. She likes to keep a positive outlook for all that she experiences and reminds others “life would be boring if it was easy with no challenges”. She loves being pushed to her absolute max and getting the most out of every aspect of her life. Be ready to laugh and sweat as Lucia motivates you to push yourself and see results physically and mentally. More
JD “LOCK” Lockamy moved up to Fort Collins all the way from Wilmington, North Carolina. He graduated from The University of North Carolina at Wilmingt...on with a degree in Exercise Physiology and started working at the local 9Round as a trainer. This is when he fell in love with Kickboxing! He has always enjoyed motivating and pushing others to better their health and fitness, and that is exactly what 9Round is all about! More

I would recommend 9Round to anyone! It's a challenging 30 minute workout with 9 stations that beats you up. The opportunity to kick and punch different bags really helps relieve any stress you might ... have. And the workouts are different every day! I also love that there aren’t scheduled class times.
