About the team
Hi Everyone, my name is Travis (Hitsville) and I’m the manager of our amazing team at 9Round Navy Yard. I also train our awesome members here at 9Roun...d Navy Yard. I was born in Detroit, Michigan and a former high level head track and field coach at Wingate University. I found my love for training and fitness at a young age, participating in martial arts as well as multiple sports. Participating in college sports grew my passion as well. I love helping others achieve their fitness goals and reach their full potential! Let’s Get It!! More
Hi, my name is Mahogany “Moneybagz” Blank and I’m one of your trainers at 9round Navy yard. My life has always been about fitness- from ballet, jazz a...nd gymnastics classes in primary school, to D1 cheerleading at UC Riverside. I am also an avid weightlifter. I discovered HIIT workouts after joining a running group in Washington, DC that combined speed workouts with HIIT. I truly love how you can push your body to its max efforts in short periods of time to really get that killer workout. That’s exactly what we do at 9Round. The kick boxing techniques help build that muscle while the HIIT provides that calorie burn- all in 30 min! My goal is to have you leaving the gym, feeling that workout transform your body. Trainers are encouraging without bullying or judging. Because at 9Round I'm focused on my own station, I don't worry about everyone else is doing or how less fit/coordinated I am in comparison. Class... es like Soul Cycle, Barre3, Solid Core, etc. always made me feel a bit embarrassed and unfit. I feel like 9Round provides all the benefits of a class or personal trainer without the clique-y dynamics of most classes/gyms.
